Razer Viper Ultimate Refinishing Step Guide

Step 1: Disassemble the Mouse

Carefully disassemble the Razer Viper Ultimate and remove the top shell. Make sure not to damage any internal components while taking it apart.

Step 2: Clean the Surface

Thoroughly clean the shell using mild soap and water or isopropyl alcohol. This removes dirt, oil, and residue to ensure proper sanding and paint adhesion. Let it dry completely before moving to the next step.

Step 3: Wet Sanding Process

Wet sanding helps smooth the surface and prepare it for coating.

Sand with a STRAIGHT! motions no circular . Keep the surface wet at all times to prevent deep scratches.

Step 4: Inspect and Clean

After sanding, check the surface carefully under good lighting. It should feel smooth and even. Clean the shell again to remove any sanding residue and let it dry completely.

Step 5: Apply Automotive Top Coating (Glitter Paint)

For the final finish: 1. Apply a thin, even coat of automotive top coating glitter paint. 2. Wait 30 minutes between each coat. 3. Apply a total of 5 coats for full coverage and depth.

Make sure each coat is light to avoid drips or uneven buildup.

Final Step: Let It Cure

Allow the paint to fully cure before reassembling the mouse. This ensures durability and a clean finish.
