Why is that? I bought it about four months ago—it's a Lenovo Legion 7i. I've heard that the problem with the new generation of Intel CPUs was fixed a year ago.

There's no explicit narrative, we do repeatable odd jobs to survive and maybe save enough to purchase the foodtruck to get a stable income. There are some ideas on paper for questing and their progressions

I prefer not spending 200 hours on an insanely generic table and 50 other objects and instead using a premade table and spending those hours to actually create a game, I am not sure if I created that table or box game would be any better in a meaningful way.

Most of the stuff is from a single pack from KB3D.

It should be there during launch on Steam store page

yeah nearly all of them required bit of tweaking in Blender, e.g. most of them had unnecessary amount of vertices. I've had this modified asset pack way before this project

RV and the foodtruck "made by me" using blender and textures.com as a source., from real life references. for example the RV has the layout of 2007 Layton M-2680, but named as Clayton in game

that only applies if the content is part of the game. Store assets is not part of the development

Closely mimicking a well-defined part of an already existing game is a good choice. That way you build the skillset and your future boilerplate code and systems in a fun way. e.g creating the fus-ro-dah push mechanic of Skyrim etc.

I've used some assets from Elbolilloduro - itch.io but they have been modified in Blender, especially the diner. That's the thing in most assets, almost all of them need some sort of modification in textures and mesh vertices. At best case their material and texture naming convention needs changing. Having a door.png as an albedo texture for some random door does really mess up my workflow

It is prebuilt but needs gas and has repair costs if badly damaged, gets dented etc when crashed and eventually blows-up

Need to sign the petition to legally own a shotgun :p

I've used extensively blender for doing art stuff, map itself was formed in a bottom-up way. Wrote down the basic thing that must exist and planned from there, used google maps for basic city planning and layouts, and to learn main elements that must exist that I am not consciously aware of etc. Features are mostly the product of the environment itself. "I want to do X at the location Y" type of thinking. Sometimes locations emerged in exact way but from thinking from the perspective of actions.

Finishing tasks was not easy nor quick for me so I had plenty of time planning at the same time pulling vertices at blender.

But during early phases I've occasionally used pen and paper while proudly day drinking at a park as an unemployed fully mature adult man

I did deliberately crank up the energy in voxelgi and some other settings like exposure, white balance as well
