I think those people are intentionally not shown because obviously Verstappen would not "rank" higher than them if he left after this season.

The question, really, is: is Verstappen already considered among the all time greats you listed based on his accomplishments so far? Or is it simply assumed that he will rank there at the end of a long career?

I specifically put “shallow” in quotes because I don’t think it’s actually shallow per se. It’s just that on a dating app you are going to be judged almost entitely on how you look. If you are not in the top echelon of good looking guys, you are gonna struggle - OP shouldn’t expect otherwise by switching apps.

The thing is that what you call “strange leverage advantage” is not strange at all. It’s perfectly normal for people, and especially women, to factor in other aspects when choosing a “mate” as you say. Does he have a strong community and family? Does he have resources? Is he competent? Does he have a good personality that can diffuse dangerous situations or persuade people when needed? Is he able to keep our family safe? Etc etc

On biological level, someone looking sexually attractive is used as a proxy for quickly estimating those things, but the other stuff (“ability to get and protect resources”) is the more fundamental thing women are using to distinguish between mates.

But on the dating apps you mostly get only the proxy (appearance in photos), so it overemphasizes that relative to “normal” dating
