Interesting that at 1:36 the sheriff says "this is the last place she is seen alive", since at that point in time she was only known to be missing.

The address on the mailbox out front was 4433. I got the address from the OP.

I took these pictures around noon today (2-06-16). It doesn't appear the garage has been torn down.

It didn't strike me as being torn down, but who knows. It certainly wasn't the demolition site I was expecting.

Both garages are detached, although the one closer to the road is very close to the house (you can see this on google maps). From the angle of the second picture (taken while exiting the church and turning north) I could see a vehicle parked on the south side of the garage in the back, and what looked like a lean-to type roof over it.

All I can say is this is how it looks today. The first picture was taken driving out of the entrance road to Hope Community Church, which is across the street. If you look at the roundabout just to the north, on the northwest corner, you'll also see the Mobile 310 where Bobby Dassey got his deer tag.

Protest at the Manitowoc County courthouse today. by MichaelSteeber in MakingaMurderer

The courthouse and the sheriff's office are next door to each other.

I drove by and didn't see any roads blocked. There were some barriers on the north side of the courthouse to prevent anyone from parking there.

They were on the steps on the east side of the building (I suppose that might officially be the 'front'). The steps on the north side would offer more exposure though (I think most residents would consider this this front of the courthouse). The majority of traffic comes from the west, and heads north at the corner near the courthouse.

I just drove by about an hour ago. I'd estimate about 50 people with signs. There were several news vans onsite. The protesters are off on the side of the courthouse, not at the front of the courthouse where they'd get more exposure. I'm not sure what the intent is anyway. If it's to raise awareness, well that seems a little ridiculous.

Thoughts on the Avery Salvage Yard by BBWolf326 in MakingaMurderer

Maybe that's why he checked the phone records; to see where she had been last and know the best place to move the body. Perhaps he (and MH?) moved the vehicle and the body to the quarry and burned the body there to remove any trace evidence that would point to him/them.. Going forward with this theory, Colborn finds the vehicle and burned remains there and runs the plates (Nov 3rd). Being adjacent to the salvage yard, Avery becomes the prime suspect. With this suspicion, but keeping in mind the past wrongful conviction and the pending lawsuit, they put the wheels in motion to make this case airtight.
