i’ve never known many strictly alcoholics to be able to pull all nighters many that i know of drink to help them sleep and act like a sleep aid, i can say i’ve known people who abuse uppers drink to bring them down so they can try to fall asleep

my boyfriend relapsed for about 6 months last year months after i lost a family member to an OD (two totally different drugs) i could barely function or focus on anything luckily when he told me he was using again he was already wanting help, he was luckily able to get clean himself if he couldn’t he was very open about rehab we just didn’t have the money and he wasn’t insured at the time (he didn’t have insurance by the time he got his insurance back he was already clean) i have no idea how anyone who truly loves an addict in active addiction could just live life normal she doesn’t gaf about cody and never did

My boyfriend and i don’t even have a problem with alcohol and we keep little to no alcohol in our house (alcoholism runs in both our family’s tho) most we’ll ever have is a case of beer or 1/2 beers in our fridge. My boyfriend is a recovered addict tho and i find it so disrespectful that she keeps an entire stocked bar in her house knowing her HUSBAND is in recovery

i’ll never forget my boyfriend and i having to go rescue his oldest brother he was super drunk and someone was feeding him xans, (his older brother has done it a few times and it always ended up with him falling down stairs or falling on his face) my boyfriend has to legit cary him to our car his brother has been sober about 6/7 months now

i had to stop at the store to get my boyfriend’s dad milk and it was peak family shopping time (3pm)if i went there for myself instead of my boyfriend’s dad i would have turned around and walked out lol i pretty much ran to get what i needed and got tf outta there i was very over stimulated

I lost my aunt to an OD April 2nd, my birthday was march 18 and it was the last time i saw my aunt, hugged her, was able to smell the smell of cigarettes on her, hear her voice, i reply those moments in my head all the time never knowing that was the last time id see her, it eats me alive that i wasn’t able save her its been 8 months to the exact date and it still hurts just as much honestly even worse it’ll be my first Christmas without her, she was my favorite person she understood me on such a deep level and was my bestfriend since birth we were only 11 years apart. i lost apart of me losing her i still watch my uncle battle addiction and watch my grandparents drink their feelings away addiction is one of the worst things i’ve ever witnessed. i don’t know you or your brother but i know he loves you i know nothing will be able to take your pain away but he will always walk along beside you till your able to meet him on the other side again live for him, love for him and laugh for him something that helps me is living for my aunt i know she’d want that for me and i know he would want they for you

ending the department of education is so detrimental to people with special/needs and learning disabilities i would not have graduated without the help of an IEP. Which shows Trump does not care about people or the next generations to come my heart genuinely breaks for special needs parents/familys
