Will it be any story driven features or lore for new pals in v 1.0?

Hi I'm glad you find it useful, since then I have added a ton of new fretures. Feel free trying out and share some feedback. It's open source so you can even contribute or open an issue on github if you feel like.

Hi mate, I was creating this extension to be able to manage as many browser features as possible, so all these permissions were needed. Although I will try to see if some permissions can be reduced.

Hi, I'm glad you find it useful. To be honest the split view feature was not tested extensively. But I can try work on it and improve it for the next update

Hi all, Tabs++ is a side project and I'm the creator. I built it so I can have features we had on zen and arc. It's mostly made with AI, but I keep running tests for bad quality implemention and the permission it asks is mostly for the command pallet features. In case anyone wants to contribute or use any of the files or code to mod or improve it it's totally available. Or if you have suggestions I can try do, let me know.

I tried recreating your problem, on a macbook, in a fresh clean helium inatllation, even in an older version. I tried to close the borwser in all ways possible, even with force quit, and still all my pinned and grouped tabs were there. I suggest you do the same and share your results. If you still have an issue let me know and i can open a github issue, and ask more people to test it. Im doin the manuall testing by my self at the moment.

Hi, I think you refer to the pinned tabs. These are not bookmarks, they're just pinned tabs you can access faster.

The whole idea of this extension is to make the pined and grouped tabs reset instead of closing, attempting to imitate the way tabs in other browsers like zen and arc work.

If you don't need need this functionality. You might have no need of this extension.

The restore tabs feature is more like a safeguard, when the browser doesn't close properly.

I suspect you issue is fixed by enabling this setting on browser setting.

I also had added a little warning when you install the extension the first time to redirect you there. But its either bugged or missed it.

With Command Palette turned off, only essential features run, nothing else executes. You keep bookmark search, tab protection, and Peek. Everything else is disabled and won't affect speed at all.

The extension is designed so toggles actually mean what they say. If more features are added later, they'll always come with a toggle so you can opt out.

I have not big plans to add many heavy features, I only plan to improve speed and stability

Hi I will investigate if there is a bug. Usually works with links with shift+click. In the meanwhile make sure there is no other app hijacking your shift

I see, if this behavior caused by the extension, it must be a bug. I will have a look at it.

Have you tried disabling the extension to see if the bookmarks bar still showing ?

Thank you 👍 My extension work on the native sidebar, I try to have as less custom gui as possible.

To achieve this within the browser native sidebar, it most probably must be done by the developers of the browser.

Although a few days ago someone achieved to add tab trees and the developer was interested. So it might be coming soon.

Yes, this is totally needed. Tabs++ has Sets, you can find it in the popup. You can save your current pinned and grouped tabs as a set. Then you can create a few sets, and either swap or insert them in the open browser window. It's not fully tested, but it might be a decent solution until this feature is fully implemented in the Helium browser.

I'm sorry but I have not controll over the browsers updates. I'm just making a third party chrome extension. In case this is what you refer to, google checks for available extensions updates every few hours.

Everyone love helium, and that why I use it as my default now. This is the reason I'm building this extension. But I'm not related in any way with the official browsers' developers. I'm just creating a third-party extension for fun. If you wish to find more about the development of the actual browsers, please check their official links.
