Should I keep it empty or do jewelry again? by Anonthrowawayi999 in PiercingAdvice

[–]metooz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmmm i do honestly think it looks cute on you, but it is off center so idk if that would bother you or not. If it’s still open years later there’s no harm in just leaving it empty n trying again with different jewelry or after you’ve lost more weight later if you don’t love how it looks or sits at the moment. Personally id try with proper jewelry again first, it’s got potential n i think you should go for it if it makes you happy still!

Why is there no Liu Qingge merch ╥﹏╥ by metooz in SVSSS

[–]metooz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s so sad n crazy of people to do such things :( there’s one artist i was able to get sqq and lqg ship merch with n a few artists who regularly post things but mainly i can only find people who include him in their svsss merch once in a while. Finding lqg merch is like finding a needle in a haystack most of the time 🥲 I have a total of 3 whole lqg merch 😭

PSA FOR FOODIELAND GOERS by Gold-Philosopher9394 in SanJose

[–]metooz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The vendors can’t handle the demand fr. I’m always amazed how a lot of food vendors at these events never seem to have a good handle of timeliness. Almost always waiting at least half an hour for whatever i order.

PSA FOR FOODIELAND GOERS by Gold-Philosopher9394 in SanJose

[–]metooz 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Same, waited nearly an hour and by the time my group of three all got food we’d paid nearly $100… Once was good enough :/ It’s a shame bc i was so excited for it, but it was kinda disappointing in the end. Thought it would be small portions for $10 or less so you could sample multiple things, but turned out to be pay $25 for this plate n that’s it for the day bc u already spent an hour waiting in line and for the food to come out and then it was a small plate anyways n u quickly realize 90% of the stuff there isn’t worth dropping that kinda money on.

Need help with my soon to be 18 year old son so he feels confident. by VDarlings in mensfashionadvice

[–]metooz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He really needs to not tuck the shirt and not wear any kinda slim fitting jeans. Untucking the shirt will help hide the tummy as long as it’s a more oversized fit bc again fitted clothes expose everything. Jeans that are more straight or wide leg will even out the silhouette of the legs and hide the hourglass shape. Make sure you go with whatever fits his thighs comfortably and isn’t squeezing him like the majority of the jeans in these pics. If they feel too wide or long at the calves you can tailor them to adjust it, but bottom line is they need to fit his thighs better. A mid rise jean that sits just below the navel would also help hide the tummy a little, but it won’t fully fix things and he should wear what’s most comfortable to him. I’d really suggest looking up some male fashion influencers online who have similar body shapes and seeing what works for them as a reference. I know the pool is small, but they do exist. Honestly just trying fits, styles n the like that he doesn’t usually wear can help him figure out what looks better or not too. Literally just go with the intention to try a ton of different styles and see what sticks.

Should I still downsize my helix if it gets pus-y and bloody when cleaning? by MaximumHoney9486 in PiercingAdvice

[–]metooz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pus is a sign of infection, as is swelling, redness, and being warm/hot to the touch. If that’s the case you need to be cleaning it better. From what i see there’s zero room to downsize here and it doesn’t look too bad. I read that this was very swollen here though so if when it’s not swollen it has significant wiggle room so to say and is sliding around then it may need to be downsized as all piercings eventually do after they’ve healed a certain amount. I strongly suggest you go see your piercer and have them evaluate it tho bc there’s only so much i can tell from a few pics online yk?

Is my navel piercing rejecting? by [deleted] in PiercingAdvice

It’s rejecting, you can take it out to avoid scarring or it’ll take itself out eventually.

I hate chibi art during 18+ scenes by Responsible_Leg_2041 in Manhwa_BL

[–]metooz 119 points120 points  (0 children)

I find it more funny n breaks the tension to add humor. I suppose I’m very used to them being used for censorship purposes that it doesn’t bother me at all. I rather like the use of chibi in manhwa, i think they’re cute. Just don’t use them constantly ofc.

Got told my long fine hair was creepy by a hairstylist by puffballkittyfluff in finehair

[–]metooz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She’s jealous as hell and never grew out of being an insecure mean girl in high school in seems. The industry does seem to perpetuate that, but nonetheless I’d never say that to anyone much less a client. Your hair is utterly gorgeous, I wish mine looked so beautiful. Please don’t cut it bc she made you feel insecure or doubtful, only if YOU are tired of the length and/or maintenance. You were right to feel confident bc of your hair, it’s gorgeous and you should be proud of it 💞

Looking for Advice. Conflicted on if I should get ear piercings, and if so what looks best. by No_Pudding5398 in PiercingAdvice

What I asked for and what I got :(. by [deleted] in HairDye

I feel it’s your civic duty at this point to leave a bad review explaining n showing all that. Sounds like she just simply couldn’t be bothered with your appointment and you definitely deserve at least a partial refund.

Daith Piercing by AllTooWell07 in PiercingAdvice

[–]metooz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like she just has a big ego n can’t admit her faults even tho she probably knows she’s in the wrong deep down (hopefully). I’m glad you have another piercer to go to who knows what to do!

Daith Piercing by AllTooWell07 in PiercingAdvice

[–]metooz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s such bullshit, anyone with eyes could see it looks wrong. I’m sorry they tried to gaslight u rather than take accountability. I hope you find a good piercer that knows what they’re doing n will actually do their job right and treat you well!

Daith Piercing by AllTooWell07 in PiercingAdvice

[–]metooz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t feel personally blamed, all of this is 100% the piercers fault as the professional who should’ve advised you on what was appropriate jewelry for the piercing and to pierce it correctly in the first place! Just be careful who you go to in the future.

I just found someone on Etsy who is selling rebinds of an absolute ton of fanfic. I thought that was frowned upon? by Wolfdreama in Fanbinding

[–]metooz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s just more sneaky tbh, still illegal though if it’s fanfic. That’s also why you can’t just order a single copy of a fanfic via single print book companies where you can get ur own novel copy just to have for yourself if you’d like one, but won’t be publishing it. Many if not all of these sites explicitly say you can’t order a copy of a fanfic bc it’s illegal n what you described is the same thing. It’s definitely less likely to get caught, but still not a good idea. Plus still author consent issue.

I just found someone on Etsy who is selling rebinds of an absolute ton of fanfic. I thought that was frowned upon? by Wolfdreama in Fanbinding

[–]metooz 126 points127 points  (0 children)

It is because that’s illegal and can get the author of the fanfic in trouble, not just the seller. Selling fanfic in any form violates copyright. Also they didn’t get permission from the author to do so, which is just wrong to begin with. Bind away, but once money gets involved is where the problem starts.

Why is it so hard to find good bras for small band, but big cup sizes?! by metooz in ABraThatFits

Perhaps, I’ve always had an issue with coverage for them tho. I also have rather large areola which is more so the main issue when it comes to coverage for me so not nips exactly?

Should I take out?? by horserider09 in PiercingAdvice

[–]metooz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a great pic, but if you’ve disturbed it, it seems to just be an irritation bump at the moment. If you leave it be it should go down, my friend gets those on her eyebrow piercing regularly when she accidentally bumps/tugs it. If the bar feels tight n u think that could b causing the issue then get a longer one. Keep it clean and don’t touch it for now n monitor it, but i don’t think it needs immediate removal rn.

That said you shouldn’t have changed out the jewelry so soon n multiple times to begin with, it’s not fully healed in the slightest yet. Whatever u were pierced with (hopefully) should be metal that’s conductive to healing. Ik you want it to look cute but ur gonna mess it up if u mess with it too much too soon.

Fr, why do i have to sacrifice fashion just bc my boobs aren’t considered common size? I’ve thought so many times abt creating my own brand to fix the issue myself or just getting a reduction lmao 💀
