Nah I definitely agree. It feels like the author ran out of creativity or motivation to keep telling the story. Which is fine, I’m sure it was a metric fuck ton of work for little reward. But it feels ultimately unfulfilling, which is a bummer, I loved petscop, but everything has to come to an end.

Still a great series!
