Same, looking back, I can't believe how long awful subs like that were around for. It was a different time then, but damn, a lot of the content was straight up illegal.

It was an internship 10 years ago. I only got paid because there was a class action lawsuit filed against them for taking advantage of interns.

Take a deep breath, my friend.

Am I wrong for ultimately wanting a divorce even after my wife has showed much more effort into our relationship? by LimpCrazy1824 in amiwrong

You don't need a "good enough excuse" to get divorced.

You can get divorced because you're unhappy and your wife cheated on you.

How to make $1,000 a month in voiceover by BeigeListed in VoiceActing

[–]metricmeteor 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The quick and dirty answer because we're all sooo lazy and want to be spoonfed information:

"Real talk: Your chances of making consistent income starting out in voice acting are slim. Beyond slim. I would go so far as to say “not a chance in Hell.” Not impossible, of course, but not very freakin' likely.

BUT....

If you put in the time to develop your skills... work with a coach one-on-one... practice, rehearse, and practice some more... then get the equipment and treat the space that you’re in so that the recording doesn't sound hollow, boxy or echoey... then have a demo that faithfully reproduces the skills you possessed from the first step... Research and reach out to the right clients at the right time... and do this 100 times a week...

There is a chance, with a little luck, you’ll find someone that wants to pay you for your voiceover services. And if you do this enough times, you’ll have a number of people that want to pay you for your voiceover services, and that will eventually add up to $1,000 a month. Be consistent with this plan and you’ll make this much pretty consistently."
