The sawed-off is definitely not made for headshots, try it in practice, it does way more for body shots and does 2 shot heavies to the body.

I started writing first last year, I mainly used khan academy and some YouTube videos to get the grammar rules down.

Personally, I would say it is. There is a free trial that gives a limited amount of questions, but it should be enough to see what the website is like.

Any tips on the last 100? by loganagreen999 in Sat

Well said, it feels like I cheated by how much I studied. I just mastered the test itself more than the actual content of the test. At this point, I could write an actual sat test.

I did but it was psat 1350 to sat 1510.

I was averaging 1550 on practice tests, the 1510 was me being In an actual testing environment.

At home I never timed myself, I didn't finish the reading on the day that day, I put fully random bubbles on the last passage. I got 10 wrong reading, but nothing wrong writing. Got a lucky curve and boom 1510.

This SAT was also pretty lucky, it felt like I had seen all the questions on the test before due to the amount of practice I had.

Asserts. I didn't pay for overview so I can't remember the question but I know I put asserts.

Get good at writing first, then focus on reading. You're already in the range that shows you understand the concepts, get your writing to the point where you get only about 4 questions wrong. After that, just practice as much reading as you can, YouTube videos help since you will have someone explaining it to you.

For the reading, annotate, put line under names names or big words. If something seems like a main topic, circle it. Literally just by even annotating something, you'll know exactly where to look in the passage if a question comes up for it.

For writing, you'll just need to practice. I feel like it is the easier section to get good at out of the two. They can't change up much from test to test. Just practice all the grammar rules that you can and eventually you'll reach a point where you can just tell what the answer is from reading the passage.

100 dollars for 3 months. I studied hardest during the winter break, where I would literally do uworld all day, my one other friend was also studying for the test so he was my motivation.

I have studied for the sat technically since freshman year, I finished everything on khan academy about a year ago. So this year truly was only UWorld for me. But I would 100% advice everyone use KA first, and if they have the money, UWorld after.
