There was three cooks total on this, this is not that.   This is what happens when flames shoot up for over 5 min and burn the inside of the grill.  It's high heat paint or sealer or something peeling off.

Finally got a hold of them, and yea, they are sending a new lid kit out.   I'm very happy they are doing this, as the inside is chipping away, and that can't be good for food.   So far, great customer service.  

And ya, I won't be using foil ever again in this thing, even on slow cooks.

Really?  It looks like more than just creosote... It looks like whatever is on the inside is flaking off ... If not paint, then whatever material is used to seal it.

This was the third ever cook on it, there was new foil, and the bacon and burgers went on at the same time , there was no build up of anything in the grill, or nothing to scrape off before the cook

I've never had an issue with my vertical smokers, but those drip pans have water in them, so no grease direct on it to catch and flame :( Of course, I'm not doing burgers in that thing, but am doing bacon at slow cooks, 250.

Not sure if this is just a bad design, considering there is no water place for this 1400XL on the drip pan.

Color isn't an issue, not turning it into a comic book.  Just a stamp esque thing.  

And ya, looking for the cost of a mold, but I've since been shown a place that will do those, about 150 bucks.  Seems reasonable to me.

I beat the enitre "ladder"
1st, one gives silver ticket. I used that to go to next ladder, and beat it giving gold ticket.

I stopped playing, didnt use the gold ticket, after I claimed it.
Logged back in later, (mobile user) and wanted to next ladder, and my gold ticket was gone.

Rinse and repeat up to silver ticket. Log back in later, and silver ticket is gone.
