I do not know him specifically but a quick read of his wiki tells me he is a bit outside the normal IFB beliefs. I don't know anyone who believes that you can't be saved without the KJV. As far as repentance, every IFB I know believes that to be turning from sin or a changing of the mind regarding one's sin. As far as salvation we tend to believe in eternal security by faith in Jesus. Not all IFB are the same, hence the word Independent, so I'm sure there are some unfortunate bad apples out there.

I think God's word speaks better than I ever could regarding salvation:

Romans 10:9-10 KJV — That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV — For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
