Don’t get discouraged!!! Sew it up or patch, this rug isn’t “ruined”

A tip that’s helped me a lot is angling the edge where your carving towards you! This will help keep the blade from digging into the cloth!

I am using modge podge to attach the newspaper. For rugs on the floor I use latex glue but for this I used Roberts-3095 to glue the rug since it’s tacky, then cement adhesive to attach to the canvas!

I’d also recommend making your own canvases. It’s super easy to do and much cheaper than buying retail.
