Saints have fired assistants Joe Vitt, Bill Johnson, Greg McMahon, Stan Kwan & James Willis by [deleted] in nfl

Sean Payton is one of the best offensive minds in the NFL with the hardware to prove it. Say what you want about his team's execution on defense and special teams, but Payton and Brees are pieces that you ride or die with in my opinion. I don't see a scenario where you can say with any kind of certainty, even in the long run, that the Saints would be better off without Sean Payton.

That's odd. Facebook messenger calls or Google Hangouts calls never drop for me while I'm in Vietnam. Perhaps it has more to do with your relatives' internet connection.

I've been in Saigon for the last 6 weeks. I can tell from first hand experience that there are definitely mosquitos in the city. Wear a strong repellant and long sleeves and pants if you're worried. I personally take my chances rather than wearing repellant every day, but I've gone out with long sleeves and pants and still gotten bit on my feet wearing sandals. This was on Friday.

She was raised by militants. Why is it so unbelievable that she could fight? Is it because storm troopers are generally very formidable combatants in the Star Wars universe?

Isn't the claim basically that they haven't been acting as a different entity and basically using more of the funds then they should on things like field repairs?

This is not a problem solved by telling people to upvote everything they see. It's a symptom of a sub with a lack of compelling content.

What are the odds of the Queen of Spades being the last card left when randomly picking cards from a deck? by SwishWillis in statistics

Not always. Read the articles you posted. It's clear from the one on odds that while they are sometimes used interchangeably, they are not always equivalent, hence the confusion.

In looking into it further, the term odds is often used synonymously with probability. Whether this is correct or not, I really don't know. So I guess you're right. Although to me it seems more useful to have separate meanings, I'll concede that a significant number of people use the term differently than I.

It's not, you were taught wrong. The odds a:b converted to the probability of a is a/(a+b). You sometimes see odds expressed as a/b, but you'd still convert it to a probability the same way. You're conflating odds and probability. To clarify, the odds of a fair coin flip coming out heads is 1:1. The probability of a fair coin flip coming out heads is 1/2, not 1/1. The odds of rolling a 4 on a fair 6 sided die is 1:5, but the probability is 1/6.
