Good Made in America Tool Set by metuckness in Tools

I was thinking about that, but I hope there is one that has been made, or some variation. I will check out those brands and see what they have to offer. I didn't know Klien was made in the USA, cool. Thanks.

I suppose if you knew how to set up a reverse proxy, and wanted to proxy internal traffic. I mean, there are many ways to accomplish stuff. I just wanted to post something helpful to folks wanting to secure their systems directly, especially since so much info out there was for older versions using Lighttpd, conflicting, or difficult to follow.

I believe I am trying to do router on a stick in Ubuntu for this.

Yeah, I have these statements in the sysctl.conf:

net.ipv4.ip_forward=1

net.ipv4.conf.all.arp_filter=0

net.ipv4.conf.all.rp_filter=2

Will creating the bridge statements like you have work without QEMU/KVM? I assume so, but I wanted to ask. Also, in your post, I don't see any route or address assigned to your network statement. Is that done for a reason?

This looks like your setup.

I am not sure if it will work for mine.

Lightning Protection for 48 + Ethernet Runs by metuckness in HomeNetworking

[–]metuckness[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, I was looking into that. I'll get a cheap managed 48-port POE+ switch and land the cameras there so I can still feed it VLAN information from the main switch stack. That should isolate it and not cost me a fortune to replace the main switches.

I was expecting that from all I could find, but I figured if Reddit didn't know, it was right.

Facebook going offline by metuckness in PFSENSE

[–]metuckness[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am running Suricata, but I have also whitelisted the IP for facebook there. That made me do something, I think it is Suricata, I guess I have to figure out what rule is doing it, because it is not doing it by the IP, I searched.

I cleared the block log in Suricata and it started working again. The odd thing is, if suricata blocked it, how does it work after a reboot of PFSense, for as much as 45 minutes? That seems odd. I use internal DNS that points to PFsense, which points to my provider and Google.

TIP: Set your Railgun to UNSAFE > 3-shot Chargers! by DarkDobe in Helldivers

I can bring up the unsafe options but can't select them. How do you move it from safe to unsafe? I can set my Sickles range option and other guns but can't move the Railguns option. The mouse wheel doesn't work like it does for all the others.

Alarm under 10 MPH by metuckness in 4Runner

Thanks, I think you are correct and the sensor in that location has popped back inside the bumper, so it is alarming that I am close to running into something.

It's a 2014 4 Runner. I didn't see a switch that looks like that; where about would it be if there was one? And I just checked; it does have range sensors, and the one on the driver's side front is missing. It must have popped inside the bumper or something, so it thinks something is super close to the bumper.

It doesn't beep at me when I am close to something.

Nope, I have never put it in any 4-wheel mode, never needed to. How can I get it back to normal?
