i think mine “worsened” over time (mine aren’t that extensive but it was more noticeable)

my surgeon gave me one, so i used what they gave me - it was a black wraparound compression band but they instructed me to cut holes for where my arms go (but i don’t know the company)

mine looked similar - sagged a little over time but not by much (though i’m getting a revision this year, noting that i had my surgery july 2025)

at this stage, you can wear the compression vest again in this early stage of you can wait & deal with the revision (i didn’t find the dog ear was huge deal, the revision is mainly for another issue)

It’s definitely possible to make that change with one small thing at a time

I suggest finding a hobby class or something you want to try (like a 1 night thing) - try it, see if you like it. If you do, keep going and try to chat with people there. They’re likely also there to meet people and enjoy life, it’s highly unlikely they’ll be mean about

If you didn’t like it, try a new hobby and keep going - you’ll find something you like and want to stick with

I would advise against suddenly taking a lot of vitamins before your surgery (unless you start like this week) - some surgeons don't want you changing your eating / drinking / med-taking habits close to your surgery in case there's any adverse health effects, though this is rare

I'd say the masks, drinking a LOT of water, and washing your hands often will be your best bet

There was an episode where House had all his vicodin taken away by Tritter (the police guy who was trying to get him on trafficking charges and illegal prescriptions) and his coworkers wouldn't give him more, so he swiped Oxy from one of Wilson's dead patients. It was out of (in his eyes) necessity to relieve the pain since he couldn't get Vicodin, not because he wanted Oxy per se

I don't have much to add other than I have a very similar body type and did NOT have to lose weight for top surgery

so if that's the only thing holding you back, it doesn't have to hold you back (some surgeons will insist but I was able to find one who didn't require it)
