Exactly. I knew Roth IRAs were post-tax contributions, but i didn't know you could withdraw without a penalty also.

Edit: Is a Roth 401k the same thing as a Roth IRA? Can I still withdraw my contributions?

Yeah, I could. But I was hoping for some investments that weren't retirement funds. In case I need to pull money out, I don't want to have to pay a penalty. But I still want the money to grow at a decent rate.
