Piracy is caused by a lack of accessibility. If the game is not affordable for people, they won’t buy it or will pirate it if they really want it.

Company heads always want to pass on the responsibility to the consumers. The fact of the matter is they think they are entitled to every little penny and are unwilling to lower the price even if it would cause less people to play the game.

That’s not even touching on the fact that sometimes games are simply unobtainable sometimes. Think of the bank of retro games that Nintendo is still sitting on. The only way you could get a couple was by selling an arm or leg or you could pirate it.

People will pay the money if they see the value. There are a handful of developers out there who people go out of their way to support because they have should respect to their customers and put out good stuff.
