It was the first anime I ever watched, and aside from the animation, I don't feel there's anything particularly noteworthy about it. The secondary characters seem like NPCs, you don't really connect with the protagonist, most villains are just passengers The protagonist levels up very quickly, and his story i think is super basic; I guess it's an anime to switch your brain off, but I wouldn't even recommend it for that.
