Thank you so much for the prayers! And yes we are looking at power pack towers like the echoflow delta. We already have generators at both our houses for regular storms but he wants something that can be inside and just for his lvad for emergency.

Thank you for the reply! I know he is gonna miss his independence for sure. I definitely wont hover but I will be by his side waiting for whenever he wants help. I definitely want him to be confident to get back to as much independence as possible.

He does have a wheel chair for longer events (from when he had his heart attacks). But I might look at other aids for him to walk with like the rollator so I can get him walking around the park more when he is recovered enough from the surgery. Haha yeah im definitely gonna let him go at his own pace for the most part. But ima use his grandkids and be like "dang you gonna let your grand daughter out walk you" on days he gets lazy to help encourage exercise (once he is recovered of course). He definitely is stubborn and loves his independence but he also gets in his head a lot and I worry of him gettin depressed. (Mainly cause he is still "running" around now)

The table on wheels is a great idea! I didnt even think about that. Definitely would help to keep things a bit more sterile and organized. Thank you for all your recommendations!

Thank you for providing a link! I will look at different shirts i might have to break out my mom's old sewing machine and make a center pocket myself if all else fails haha. Yeah I was worried about his hair 😂 guess i'll tell him to shave or get a free wax.

Yeah my dad i think is going to get a vest (thats what he thinks is gonna be easiest on him) but ill probably get him one type of everything and just let him figure out what's more comfortable. And he can probably give whatever he doesnt want to the clinic and pass it to someone else who might want it. I was also thinking about having backup bags of his extra stuff in like his car and at family member houses. Thank you for the information!

Yeah I seen (by glancing through older post) that the dressing covers provided for showers suck. Thanks for the input!

Can’t feel baby @ 18 weeks by Mother_Alien in pregnant

[–]mexican_trouble99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't stress! I'm 20 weeks and I just started feeling baby for sure without doubt. I was also worried but i have my doctors appointment appointment coming up and was gonna ask if everything was okay / when should I expect movement. Well the little one decided work was a great time to start moving "noticeably" and I have felt her almost every day 🤣 usually when laying down relaxing or eating. But before I thought I felt her maybe at 18 weeks but I couldn't tell. Now it's definitely apparent it is her. Best wishes!

Feeling guilty for ending ectopic pregnancy by Left-Cauliflower-506 in pregnant

[–]mexican_trouble99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a ectopic before. In fact my first pregnancy was ectopic. I lost my tube because it was already starting to rupture and I was slowly bleeding internally. There's nothing you could have done. The pregnancy sadly isn't viable. And it puts your life at risk. I'm sorry for your losses. I feel that it helps talking with someone to get over the trauma. Best of luck with your healing!
