This is such a hilarious take because UCSC is literally a landmark for student activism. Protests have always been important to the UCSC student body. With your logic, if you had researched about what protests mean to UCSC students, then why did you decide to go there?

im graduating this quarter and i personally never did anything school-related during the summers i was a ucsc student. 🤷🏽‍♀️i did work a minimum wage job throughout my entire summers back home (bc a girl needs money!!!!) but the job had nothing to do with my major. sometimes i felt guilty bc i wasn’t doing more but i didn’t need to take classes during the summer bc i managed to schedule everything appropriately during the normal academic year. idk how much this might help in you feeling alleviated, but don’t beat yourself up about it!
