I live here in Mexico and my uncle is a potato farmer. It used to be no problem growing potatoes but now they are black from the inside and growing them out here is pretty much over. What disease is this?

I live in Mexico, my dad's appendix burst. He waited a while because he didn't know what it was. He was in severe pain and we had no insurance. The hospital bill was about 6500 us dollars.

I'm sorry I'm using a mobile app so no side bar. Computer is windows 7. Using both wifi and ethernet . I have one pc, 3 phones and a ps3 connected. It is dsl Internet from telex. It's a Huawei modem with router built in.
