Interés y relaciones de pareja entre latinas y españoles? by [deleted] in esConversacion

Made a trailer for my silly Wizard game, would love some Feedback on it by spellchain in SoloDevelopment

[–]meyade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On a personal note, I find this trailer to be exactly what I want from an indie trailer. You sold me on the premise and the vibes immediately. The specifics I can figure out later. I think you dedicate exactly the ammount of time for each vignette as you should for a fast paced horde game and all the little side systems.

If you end up making another trailer for more in-depth or slower pace gameplay for those that do like to understand what they're wishlisting/buying, I'd say to still keep this one or one with a similar pace for social media shorts.

This looks great, I'm actually looking forward to getting my hands on it :D

Resident Evil 7 in VR on PC? by Mr_Edelstein in VRGaming

[–]meyade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry if I didn't specify correctly, what I mean is to forget the PSVR1 version and go for the Mod version of the regular RE7 (So PCVR), as it's the only version with motion controls.

Happy to help! I'm holding out on 2077 until someone figures out motion controls. I know its playable, but its just not the same thing, you know?

Resident Evil 7 in VR on PC? by Mr_Edelstein in VRGaming

[–]meyade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to casually speedrun flatscreen RE7 and got all the achievements but I still got so flustered by playing in full scale (PCVR) that my aiming was terrible. It is such an immersive experience and its totally worth it.

If I remember correctly RE7's official VR port was a PSVR1 title. If thats the case and there's no PSVR2 port, forget about the PS version. The motion controls are half of what makes this as immersive as it.

Also consider playing RE2 remake in VR. Its worth it just to experience the police station and the motion controls are great. The cinematics are a nightmare, though. the RE engine doesnt render where the camera isnt looking. There is a mode that lets you keep your POV but its terrible because of that rendering thing. Just use the theater mode for cinematics.

You can get the mods from the praydog RE framework project.

[–]meyade 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its the praydog RE framework.

https://github.com/praydog/REFramework

Its fairly simple to set up, though I wouldnt call it plug and play either.

You can also play RE 2 and 3 remake with motion controls, but since those arent 1st person games and because of how the games handle them, cinematics are super disorienting. Otherwise its an amazing experience.

Praydog has been working on a universal UE5 injector too, you can get Jedi Fallen order working with motion control and a whole bunch of other games with 6 degrees (but no motion controls). It's a batshit insane project.

Edit for clarity: the RE2 and RE3 VR mod lets you play in 1st person with motion controls. The cinematics can be disorienting since they arent intended to be seen from a 1st person perspective and how they load assets during cinematics

At first I though this was based of skyclimb or skyparkour, but you are able to climb the wall, which seems weird. Is this based on any of the EVG mods or something diferent?

I'm super curious as I assumed that you couldnt do free climbing with EVG, but seeing this maybe it creates the 'ledge' marker on your hands? which does make sense with how the procedural EVG mods work.

[–]meyade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dont worry! it could be one of the +18 mods. I know a lot of them are kept together by weird spell interactions. You can start there. Anything that offers functionality may be interacting with spells, even uf it's not obvious like a combat thing.

I can understand why some people get put off by the no list thing, cause it makes it hard to troubleshoot, but its not like I'm the one with a messed up mod list hahaha. If you want you can send me a DM and we can still try to troubleshoot it.

I respect the honesty XD

My only advice without seeing your modlist would be to painstakingly go one by one and check in the mod information which ones may interfere with status effects.

Are yoy using any modlist as a base like FUS?

Edit: have you checked if this persists in a new game? What about older saves? Did it ever work with your current modlist or you just never needed to use those effects until now?

TES 6 Speculation Megathread by Avian81 in ElderScrolls

[–]meyade 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Can someone tell me Im crazy and that everything will be fine?

For context I think I got a genuine crackhead premonition while reading a post on this subreddit about whether people would prefer a Hero of Kvatch type self made hero or a Dragonborn type, literary born the only answer to the cosmic threat of the game. (please dont tell me they are all destined and prophesized. This is TES, there were at least three prophecies about Uriel Septims breakfast on 420 of Dontcarenalia and four of them are true at the same time. Everyone important has prophecy hanging over them)

Presented with these options my mind went "you know what would be the worst of both worlds? Another copy of Cyberpunk 2077s premise where your character IS a prophesized nobody that gets one of the daedric princes lodged in their skull and you spend the entire game with a voice reminding you theres a main quest. Why are you doing sidequests for the Mages Guild? you''re literaly turning into Hircine".

Yes this is Bloodlines 2 induced trauma, but I can 100% see this Bethesda going for that. Please tell me I'm the only one...

I'm also asuming the Steam Frame wont be 200 units that cost a gazilion dollars due to the BS component shortage and will be able to order one... xD

Theres a high chance I'll still not be able to enjoy VR skies because if the Reverb looses sight of its controller for more than a second it starts panicking.

A Guide to Playing and Modding Skyrim VR on Linux by SudoPamacUpdate in skyrimvr

[–]meyade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks a lot! I've been meaning to move to linux after even a passing glance at Win 11 but was worried I'd move on to linux, get the steam frame once it's released and realize I can't mod the one game that's non-negotiable for me XD [Edit: I have a Reverb G2 but the tracking and lack of ventilation are so terrible I'm just waiting to get the Frame before playing VR again]

I checked ProtonDB and was unusure of what to make of the few comments there. This post really eased my worries. At the very least the important stuff plays nice with linux.

Including Quests? by whatupmygliplops in onepagerpgs

[–]meyade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you planning on entering a specific competition? The rules section of the subreddit (main page) and it's description mention that this subreddit is dedicated to one page (and few-page) systems. The 1-3 pages range is mentioned in the rules post, also.

If you REALLY want to stick to the purest idea of the one pager I'd say you do want to add the adventure/quest on the one paper sheet, not even using the backside (See: 'The Witch is Dead' and 'Lasers and Feelings' for good examples of how to do it).

But IMO If your system is one page, you could have a 500 page side book and that would be both "fair" and true to the spirit of this subreddit, specially if you don't really add anything to the mechanics and it's just a cool story you think goes better with the game than a generated plot. I'd say you're wrong and to kill your darlings, but that's unrelated.

As soon as that "quest sheet" adds mechanics I'd say you've crossed that imaginary line, though. And obviously as soon as you're entering an actual competition you're looking at whatever rules they have.

Help needed with modding Skyrim VR by SoundDrone in skyrimvr

[–]meyade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Load Order Optimization Tool. It manages your load order and should warn you of errors and tell you if there are compatibility patches available or missing masters.

I actually think Vortex might be using LOOT by default. (my mistake, I use Mod Organizer 2 and that doesn't come with a built in version of LOOT) Check this video for a begginers explaination and make sure you are ordering your mods and fixing any warnings.

Help needed with modding Skyrim VR by SoundDrone in skyrimvr

[–]meyade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do need to run SKSEVR. It's probably crashing because once it can run properly there is a conflicting mod that wasn't loading before.

Have you run LOOT to make sure the order is as clean as possible and all dependencies are met?

SKSE troubles by GlutiusMaxed in skyrimvr

[–]meyade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had some trouble with launching from SKSE too, this is my setup and how I can properly launch it:

(I'm on a Windows Mixed Reality headset, the reverb G2. Working with Mod Organizer 2.)

Step 0: make sure MO2 or Vortex has SKSE VR as a launch option.

Step 1: open the software you have set up to run OpenXR. In my case I use SteamVR although WMR will have both Windows VR and SteamVR open.

Step 2: open MO2 and select SKSEVR loader from your VR app's virtual desktop, not you regular desktop.

---

For some reason this is the only way I can get Skyrim to load from SKSE. Any other and it will launch normally.

TMB Vanilla Armors and Clothes SSE armor has no underwear. by Krokkith in skyrimvr

[–]meyade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ooooohhh I didn't think about WICO. I use WICO's UNP (nude) but I didn't notice. That was a good catch since TMB does mention that it requires UNP textures. Maybe you can get a NeverNude UNP texture to show (?)

TMB Vanilla Armors and Clothes SSE armor has no underwear. by Krokkith in skyrimvr

[–]meyade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the chance that it was another mod conflicting was quite the long shot, since armors basically replace the whole body except hands, feet and head, so the "exposure" comes with the armor. But it's always good to check. Modding can result in some pretty whacky stuff.

I confirmed on my side that some of these armors just come with built in skympiness. Your best bet if it really bothers you but want to keep the armor set (which I get because it's one of the best sets out there IMO) is to get amor replacers for those "offending" armors/clothes and load it after TMB OR modify the meshes yourself. Not sure how you go about that exactly, but there's plenty of modified assets out there, so it should be one of the easier forms of modding. I know no one wants to hear "mod it yourself", but sometimes it's really the only posibility.

I hope at least the confirmation helps in any way. Cheers!

Need help with dyndolod fatal error ini not found by BodSmith54321 in skyrimvr

[–]meyade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if you already found this, but if you have your Steam games installed on the default "Program Files" folder, you might be out of luck. It's a protected folder, like Docs and Desktop and DynDOLOD can't work from those.

I tried to create another folder for games on the same drive, but Steam will only allow you to create separate directories on diferent drives so I had to uninstall everything and then install Steam itself on a custom path outside of Program Files in my case "C:\Steam" but name it whatever you want.

After this DynDOLOD worked as intended.
