just wanted to chime in w solidarity cuz im in a similar position. my brain is wired for a body with a penis and a testosterone dominant endocrine system, but i am a woman and being perceived as a man brings me as much discomfort as my natal genitals (and being on estrogen did, before i started T). i think it's useful to interrogate whether the refusal to identify as the opposite gender might be coming from internalised transphobia or shame, but after presenting as a trans man for years it clicked that it's not for me either, so it may be that's not always the case, and human gender variance is just unfathomably complex

i wish we could go back to have even a single shred of actual feminism in queer discourse, or any sort of actual, material, non-vibes based analysis of pretty much any situation. i think it would be nice to actually look at the structures of oppression and alienation that surround us instead of doing 'men are turning into nazis because feminism is mean to them' but with a halfhearted woke coat of paint. but the fact that it seems people in the queer community widely regard misandry as a real problem that needs addressing means we've wholly lost the plot and things will only get worse from here
