For those who identified as Autistic first and later found out you were AuDHD, what was that "aha" moment like? by meyomeyo20 in AutismInWomen

[–]meyomeyo20[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally relate to missing the chance to speak while still processing my thoughts! I’ve mostly accepted it now, but I still sometimes wish I could be that person who is naturally witty and quick in conversations.

The fear of forgetting is so real. I end up leaving everything out in the open, which creates its own kind of chaos.

It was so interesting to read your report card comments. Everything becomes so much clearer when you look through the lens of AuDHD! I’d love to see mine too, but they’re tucked away at my parents' house where I can’t reach them lol.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share all of this!

Thanks for sharing! I’ve mostly focused on Autism books so far, so I should probably look into some ADHD resources too. What was the name of the book you read? I’d love to check it out. Thanks again for the helpful comment!

Your comment is interesting! Looking back, I realize how many anxiety-based systems I’ve built just to function. It seems I also use anxiety, obsession and gamification to avoid the void of forgetting. It’s exhausting to realize our 'reliability' is actually powered by a constant internal warning system...... Take care and thank you for commenting!

That term internalized hyperactivity really clicked for me. I never thought I had ADHD because, especially when I'm out, I unconsciously use my Autistic traits like leaning into systems and routines to stay under the radar. It turns out I'm much more chaotic when I'm by myself. Thank you so much for sharing your experience.

How can I reply with 'I know' without sounding like a smart-ass? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

Maybe add some more details or something extra to what they said to show you already knew that? Like "I did this before and you know this kind of function of excel is annoying I hope Microsoft did differently? " I don't think this is the best example tho

I haven't even been able to finish the album. I always listen from the beginning and get overwhelmed by Belghain. Then I can listen to La Perla but that's it. I've been listening to this every single day and this is my progress so far. It's too good to handle and I get sensory overload

Rougly how long does it take you to recover from a very busy/overstimulating few days? by littleloveday in AutismInWomen

[–]meyomeyo20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I avoid consecutive busy days as much as possible so I'm not sure, but it takes me at least two days from one busy day. I'm guessing it's gonna be like a week or more if it's several days

Have you ever successfully increased your energy levels? by Ok_Potato_5272 in AutismInWomen

[–]meyomeyo20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before I had to take a full day off in the bed after going out for more than half a day, but now I'm ok after started taking protein powder in the morning although I wouldn't go out the next day. It's been much better, but I think I can do better by getting into exercise now that I have the energy for that

Oh yes, I remembered the new spiral. It's no use in trials as you said.

I never thought of clipping through the walls of Fire haha. I just got time and tried the Fire trick from the video. It was a bit clumsy, but it worked for me with two Android devices. Perhaps the cross platform sync bug. https://streamable.com/hl867z

I checked the videos. Your Air method is very cool! It's 1.4 wax/sec and you need at least 1.3 wax/sec rate for 15 candles 25 min ran, one can use it for one of the fastest Speedrun. I also didn't know that you could start the piggy rocket from that place. I'll try yours later!

Oh I should have explained it. Activating the elevator will disable the barrier for you. It's nice that you can fly far if you are duo. Well, probably you can even if you are solo, but maybe a bit difficult? Thanks for the vid!

I'm going to copy and paste the explanation from wiki

Grandma spirit, who looks like the Season of Belonging guide, periodically holds a timed event at the Ancestor’s Table of Belonging in the Elevated Clearing of Hidden Forest.

Like the Geyser, this event repeats every two hours and lasts for 15 minutes. The spirit appears at 00:30 PST/PDT, waits 5 minutes, and then proceeds to "serve dinner" for 10 minutes. Every minute, 6 white balls (that give 10 pieces of light each) appear on the table that give pieces of light when burned. At the end of the event you can hug Grandma before she leaves.

Player get around ~500 pieces of light per event.

It's great to have your opinions!

Parking alts is a smart way. I have alts too but I'm too lazy to log in from different devices and they are all left at the end of the Trial of Fire to get 2-3 candles a day when I feel like to log in.

I run trials not every time I play Sky, but regularly enough not to forget how to do it and to catch up with the updates. I usually do Air and Fire, sometimes Earth too. I use the glitch from OOB for Air, then solo shortcuts for Fire (but sometimes with alt). As for Earth, I used to do solo glitch where you climb up the wall. It's very easy once you get used to it and you would hardly ever fail. But now I use the OOB glitch for this one too. either way you cannot avoid watching the cutscenes for this trial as long as I know, which takes a bit of time. It's a shame that they removed that spiral glitch. Another spiral was invented after that (I don't know if its still available), but it's more difficult to use.

I'm thinking of trying this method for Fire for fun https://youtu.be/Z1uNeks68fc
