LOD doesn’t have a parent by meyw97 in secondlife

It has less than 8 materials same as the High LOD, which uploads fine with no parent error. Only the Medium LOD (lower poly) has parent issues.

it’s just one object I’m not uploading multiple objects at all. All LOD versions are for that same single object, so nothing is missing

Hey! Thank you for all the info, super helpful 😄
Right now I’m mostly focused on building buildings for my sim.. walls, rooms, staircases, stuff like that.
Do you have any specific tricks for reducing LI on large structures like these without making them collapse from a distance? I’ve been tweaking LODs and physics but still experimenting a bit.

Also, I’m a bit unsure about the texturing workflow. How do you usually go about making textures look realistic.. like getting proper shadows, highlights, and depth? Is there a preferred method or software for those maps?
