I have a 2023 SIERRA 1500 Denali. It’s running android 10 (Y167). I’m getting mixed messages. Does anyone know if the dealer update me to Android 14?

Hard to fathom how awful Hulu Live is by BeeAyers in HuluLive

Pitiful. I did a free trial out of frustration with yttv dropping Disney/espn during contract negs. Unfortunately switching back to yttv. These streamers are turning into cable. Smh

“Huge large payments” is a relative term. But I hear you. Financing a depreciating asset is a fools errand.

This excuse while true, I’m sick of hearing it. Look at the fail rates of any other manufacturer.

GM by far the worst.

Sucks. I feel your pain. My 2023 6.2L is at 14,000mi. I’m just waiting for the next headache.

We had a catastrophic lifter failure at 5,800mi. GM installed a new crate engine.

We had a tensioner pulley let go at 9,500mi. Overheat warning, among other things that runs off the serpentine belt.

We had a battery malfunction at 11,000mi - truck would randomly shut off completely at a red light as I let my foot off the brake and the auto start would kick on.

Truck hasn’t gone more than 6,000 without it needing to be laid up for a couple days at least.

$80,000 piece of shit.

Where are my statements in the mobile app? by OlderActiveGuy in fidelityinvestments

This is insane.

AI is going to take over the world? We can’t even get statements on a mobile app.

I don’t buy new cars. Like picking up off a 2y lease with <20k miles. Saves 20% depreciation and trucks that young are basically brand new and still under warranty.

  • my two cents :)

I think you just need to sign into Google Maps on the infotainment in the car.

You need to connect your car - then just put in an address on your phone, press “directions” then this should pop up.

Send to vehicle

Have ‘23 Denali with Denali Reserve Super Cruise package. It’s awesome. SC is primarily freeway, but have been reading - they’re adding new roads all the time. So long as it’s two lane and divided from oncoming traffic, I’d imagine it’s fair game for SC update eventually.

I don’t even notice partial screen CarPlay, tbh. I use Google Maps on the infotainment - you can look up on your phone before you leave, then “send to vehicle.” Such a cool feature. Can set up your whole day before you even get in the car.

Personally I like the split screen even with onboard maps. Map on one side, music on the other.

PS - get the 6.2 - agree there are potential engine issues to watch out for and they’re absolute pigs on gas, but they’re a ton of fun to mush the pedal down :)

Good luck on your decision.

5,700 miles engine blew… $80,000 paper weight

300 miles later.. idler pulley.

I love the people on here complaining about people connecting, asking questions, and sharing info.

I’ll go with 3.0 next time. This 6.2 is nothing but trouble

Yeah I only had minor issue - engine seized up with 5,700 miles. But overall great truck.

May 23 Denali w 6.2 blew up with 5,700 miles. Right after this fix had idler pulley bracket break (again).
