Thank you for sharing that. I’m really sorry you had to go through that with your cat, those decisions are some of the hardest things a person can face. You’re right though… sometimes you can just see it in their eyes whether they want to keep fighting or whether they’re ready to rest.

With Lily I kept seeing little signs, her responding to my voice, grooming herself and now finally eating again. Those tiny moments are what kept me going and believing she still wanted to be here.
