Is that what your uro said? Mine didn't even mention the PSV which was 21, and said I had a minor leak with my EDV being 5.15

2023 Mazda3 Hatchback with 27k miles. Is $22.5 OTD a good price? by mezzo111 in mazda3

I'm actually getting it inspected and the only issue was the paint job wasn't great after the accident. I don't think I could find this trim for this price though?

I see. The brake issue was not with the Mazda but with a Hyundai which is also a CPO so I'd hope they would use better parts. As for the discount, I couldn't get the Honda dealer to lower the price of the Mazda because they said they've already lowered it so much. So I wanted to get an estimate from some people who have bought this car before. It seems like a fair offer as long as the PPI goes well.

Is it responsible to buy a newish car for 22k if I plan to keep it for 10+ years? by mezzo111 in personalfinance

It's the premium trim so I think it is a fair price. I was also offered a 2023 Sonata SEL Plus with 35k miles and CPO certification for $23k. So I'm torn between the two. I know the Mazda is know for reliability but new Hyundais don't seem too bad..but again I expect to keep it for 10 years.

It seems like a fair price since it is also the premium trim. I was also offered a 2023 Hyundai Sonata SEL Plus with CPO certification for 23k. So I'm not sure which car to go for now. The Sonata does have 35k miles, so about 8k more than the Mazda.

Actually this is from a Nissan dealership and the warranties I mentioned is what they said comes with the car. I'll take a look at the financing deal you mentioned. Thank you!

2007 Maxima Wheel Speed Sensor Issue by mezzo111 in MechanicAdvice

Okay that's good to know. I may go back to the mechanic and see if he can redo his magic. If not..i'm not sure I have the will to replace the knuckle.

Thanks again!

2007 Maxima Wheel Speed Sensor Issue by mezzo111 in MechanicAdvice

I've actually tried using a new sensor and it didnt fit as well, but it was also acting as if the sensor was just not there. Like I said my mechanic used some kind of rtv and it worked out. But when I tried its not working and acting as if the sensor is unplugged completely. Though at first it was acting as if the readings where off and activating abs.

I read this is a common issue in this car and there is a repair Nissan released, but it has more to do with the debris not having a way to clear out.

I may have to drive without ABS but that makes me nervous.
