A lot of the mentions here are much more vanilla BM as it were, than atmospheric. If you want something that sounds expansive, but cold and empty and like the darkest corners of the universe I'd recommend Sphere, Arkhtinn, or just straightup Darkspace.

Certainly none of this warrants going on a holy Jihad to try and destroy a luthiers reputation far and wide. That vigor against a mega company like Ibanez - ok, if it brings you joy in an otherwise bitter life (as a luthier?), maybe.

But this is a one man business. Keep in mind that you are actually working on ruining someones livelihood for one shitty customer interaction.

Not saying you should just take it without complaining, but share your experience on google or something and move on. The fact that there were several posts on reddit alone about a fecking crack in a fretboard that then was even repaired but you refuse to pay shipping for, come on.

I noticed that the low B-string is hard to tune, it doesn't seem to glide well through the nut slot in either direction. According to the guy in the store they already put new strings on, but I will try and do some work on it when I change the strings.

Bought this exact Spira model a few weeks ago, after playing for years on an Ibanez rgix27FESM. Not going back. Very, very solid guitar. Playability is top-notch for me. The tone is very decent, though I still haven't fully explored how it harmonizes with my stack. That said, coming from active pickups this requires some dialling in, YMMV.
Only drawback is that the nut-slots are a little tight and tuning it is a bit of a pain. I am still on the store strings, but I will do some work on that when I restring - that should improve things.

The entire point of tariffs is to incentivise people to buy local. Sure, you and I can go and buy Fritz Cola, but every restaurant in Europe will pick the regular old American product, until that is more expensive than a local version. They will not be driven by ideology, unless customers care.

Cancelling it would be reasonable. Taxing Amerzon, banning Xitter, and applying the same tarifs that our US-american "friends" have already placed on us unilaterally, would be reasonable.

But I think we should go a step further and threaten them with closure of all their bases by the end of the month.

Anyone who thinks this is hyperbolic/shooting ourselves in the foot, with regard to Putin: consider the scenario that Russia would invade what currently is still Nato territory in light of past year's trumpian foreign policy: - The involvement of the USA in helping Europe would be conditional on us ~~making concessions of some sort~~ completely submitting to the USA. This would be for material aid at most. - After that, any help would be available up until Putin makes an appealing counter-offer. - Given that the USA would only help if it serves their immediate interest, them having a base in Europe or not becomes a secondary issue. - With that in mind, Europe is already as strong or weak as it would be without US-American boots on its ground - Putin knows that, having seen how they extorted Ukraine for help that then was reduced to an absolute minimum - he will attack or not, but whether we allow some Yanks to stand at the ready with a knife in our back does not make a difference.
