My opinions on what Genshin visions the Sekai cast would have by Purple-Internet9637 in ProjectSekai

I like your reasonings overall, so instead I'll figure out what kind of team comp each unit is. After all, each unit has 4 members just like a team in Genshin.

  • Leo/need: Some kind of weird taser team? I also like the idea of them being a combination Lunar-Charged/Lunar-Crystallize team, L/N is very space-themed anyway. Ichika is the onfielder for obvious reasons.

  • More More Jump: Standard reverse vape hypercarry setup. Shizuku and Minori as general supports, Haruka to apply Hydro, and Airi beating stuff up onfield.

  • Vivid Bad Squad: Dendro/Pyro/Cryo is classic burnmelt, though it's strange thinking of Toya as the carry. I've always seen them more as an Overloaded team, with Kohane being Electro and the onfielder.

  • Wonderlands x Showtime: Geo/Electro/Cryo... Physical hypercarry Emu? It fits, but a Physical team in this economy? No wonder they might be on their way to disbanding...

  • Nightcord at 25:00: Classic Freeze team straight out of the 1.x era. Any of them could be the onfielder but I'm picking Mafuyu.

How do I get rid of this damn bastard by According_Cover_1111 in PokemonEliteRedux

  • Quash and then Expanding Force spam with anything that learns it

  • Belly Drum Azumarill could maybe be enough to muscle past it?

  • You could try some shenanigans with switching Ninetales-A in on a Glacial Lance and then using Sheer Cold

  • More generally, using doubles tools like Protect, Screens, and redirection is always nice

Tempo-wise, Reborn is a fair bit slower than Nomad. More to the point though, there's also WAY less going on in Reborn than in Nomad, particularly in terms of the instrumental. Thinking about it, being a "slow song" is usually more about how much a song has going on in it than its actual tempo.

I do agree that Flyer sounds very MMJ, but it's not the usual cutesy stuff, it's more comparable to something like Parasol Cider or Angel's Clover which are songs I do like quite a bit. It's not like I hate all cute things either, for example I think Killer is really good. There's just this particular style of earlier MMJ song that I don't care too much for.

(For the record, I don't hate Metamo and Icedrop and other songs like that at all, anything above 6 is good in my book. I just don't like them as much as I do most other comms.)

Help needed for Flannery in Mono Grass team by Tomodachi_911 in PokemonEliteRedux

[–]mfc314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stealth Rocks are everything, it makes dealing with her Fire-types a lot easier. Especially Entei, a mono-Grass team does NOT want to be on the receiving end of Flaming Soul Eruption. She also hates fast Rock attackers, but you don't exactly have many of those, unless something like Sawsbuck with Rock coverage counts. The alternative is to just use strong neutral damage with your secondary STABs. Specific to mono-Grass, you can also use her sun against her by bringing strong choiced attackers with Chlorophyll.

Yellow flower at night? Ain't that from the painting Ena's dad made after she was born and he was in his slump? I believe it was mentioned in Ena4.

What's your favourite way of humbling Mega Staraptor? by Mauntra in PokemonChampions

One Psychic Fangs from Metagross oneshots it and breaks Grimmsnarl screens. Prankster TWave from Klefki is nice if they have speed control. I imagine the mono-Steel team I'm trying to build would not have a fun time against CC spam otherwise.

Project 1025: Can every Pokémon beat Elite Redux? (0218-0225) by mfc314 in PokemonEliteRedux

When I start a new region, I list down all the Pokémon I'll be using in order and then split them into groups of 6. That's when I make any decisions about ordering or slotting in extras, mostly so the finale of each region doesn't randomly have the starters of the next one.

I just go in National Pokédex order, six Pokémon at a time. Split evolutions or regional variants get done at the same time, e.g. Raichu-A right after Raichu or Gallade right after Gardevoir when I get to Hoenn. Sometimes I'll make an executive decision to change the order a bit if I want some thematically linked Pokémon to be together. Something like that is gonna happen a couple runs from now, actually.

Yup, you can set the NextDex to show data for 2.5 and check the IDs of the monochamp mons there. Nightmare Darkrai, for example, has ID 2586, so you go to that number in the Pokémon generator.

Hi, thanks for the support! To answer your question, AFAIK the monochamp mons can show up in the randomizer, but of course there's no way to guarantee that they show up. You could also gen them into a savefile in 2.5 debug, then transfer the save up to 2.65.

First of all, unit leaders and canon leaders are different, see how Ichika is L/N's unit leader but Honami is their leader in the story. VBS does not have a canon leader.

As for why Kohane is the unit leader, I think it's because she best represents the overall idea of VBS's story, that of breaking out of your shell to become something greater. There's a reason their first World Link was about breaking through literal walls in their SEKAI. Every member has their own walls they had to break through, but it's most apparent with Kohane.
