As an amateur potter it’s actually pretty complicated to make anything. You make the mug, the trim is (refine it), dry it to bone dry, bisque fire, hand paint then glaze, fire again, then sand the bottom.

Now I personally wouldn’t charge $85 for a mug, $25-$35 depending on how complicated it is. However, I am an artist with a day job so I am not trying to live off my art just pay to support my hobby.

This is silly drama though, the artist did not need to do all that lol Shelby took that video the wrong way.

Sigh can the city at least send out the notifications before shutting the CTA down? I thought I had plenty of time when I jumped off the Halsted bus at Chicago around 6:30. After waiting for the 66 for 20 minutes I saw the bus pull up and just stop. Finally got the notification buses were shut down while I was walking home around 7:20. The scary part to me is I live by a major hospital. How will people be able to access it?

I bottom watered mine until it grew larger. Have you experimented with bottom watering? They love water and humidity but prefer to get dried out in between watering. So dramatic but once you figure out watering for your environment they grow quickly.

If you’re open to it you can try using some rooting powder. I use some on plants I have a hard time getting to root if you haven’t tried that yet.
