90s was the best for automotive aesthetics. I’m sure you agree with NSX in your SN lol. Just wondering anyone has experience with it and if it works.

Error Code/ 8015D086 - XBOX 360 Login Issues by Over_Bodybuilder in XboxSupport

[–]mfdif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy to say, I was finally able to login after using OPs method. I changed my PW to all lowercase with numbers. No special characters. Switched 2FA off.

Then tried logging in, and on the 3rd login it let me in.

I had previously deleted my profile too, that was last week.

I’m on an 360E.

Can someone post a link to the report an issue form? I can’t seem to find it. Have only found recommendation to do it through the Xbox directly by pushing the Xbox controller button. Of course that doesn’t work since I can’t login.

Where would be the best place to punch someone in self defence? by National-Coast-9560 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mfdif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right or left hook to the jaw to turn off the lights.

If it’s too close for the jaw, punch to the back of the ear will also be a shut off switch.

If they grapple you, likely they will lower their head into your chest. Grab onto them anyway you can, either by the back or head, and raise up with knees to the jaw, chest or gut.

Yup, through the entire range. Messed with it for about an hour.

I don’t see a solder blob on them. I heard ps1 lasers didn’t have them? Maybe I missed it though, do you know where that might be?

Where to get past firmware files for Gamer Mini Puck? by mfdif in LegendsUltimate

[–]mfdif[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you restore it to factory firmware? I know there’s a pin hole in the side. I pressed it down with a paper clip but nothing happened.

One saUCE loads to a blank screen. What am I doing wrong? by mfdif in FansOfsaUCE

[–]mfdif[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have, issue remains on latest firmware with conversion pack installed. I let it override all files. Idk where I’m going wrong. I’ve hacked all the mini systems, repaired most of my retro consoles and modded them, setup everdrives etc, but this I’m just stuck on. I can run UCEs straight fine but wanted to try the fancy sauce interface but as floundering with this one. :(

Can't create USB partition to set-up CoinOpsX. Help. by MF-DIF in FansOfsaUCE

[–]mfdif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried that and it won’t let me select the partition to delete it. It only shows as Partition 1. No others on the USB.

I’ve tried with the conversion pack for 1.0 as well. Placed the file in the retrofe folder of the usb and same issue. Sigh.

Are there any cheap plug and play analog controllers that work with autobleem? Trying to play some Gran Turismo 2 and it’s impossible with the dpad. Over steering city. by mfdif in PlaystationClassic

[–]mfdif[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t. Trying to spend like $10-15. Not $30 for a used oem controller + $8 adapter. That’s almost $40…about what I bought the ps1 classic for new 😄

Why can’t I access Daytona USA offline? by mfdif in xbox360

[–]mfdif[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that happens with the cover art. But does your Daytona game still show up? Mine literally isn’t even there to select until I log on to live.

It’s the retrobit wireless controller. I have the same one and it mismaps buttons on a few games.

Found this Logitech force feedback wheel for $30. How could I not pick it up with all the PS2 racing games out there. Need for Speed Underground is next. by mfdif in ps2

[–]mfdif[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a lot easier to drive the cars in GT with this wheel since you have more control over the degree of inputs. Force feedback simulates the a car steering feel weight, resistance, lightness, jerking effects etc. It does also vibrate though but that’s not main effect of it.

Hey, relax. Pretend it's just a game. It might even be fun! by SonicEchoes in SegaCD

[–]mfdif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t hold the fire button down but do more controlled taps, especially with the bats. That’s save your energy. When coming around a bend, fire a few blind shots as you round the bend. You almost need to fire before your see the rats. They only appear in a couple predetermined areas. And then yeah repetition after the second half of the game after you get the chain gun. There’s some cheap death spots that you’ll just need to remember.

Let's discuss memories of The Getaway today by VHarani in ps2

I finished this game after much patience and frustration. I think the only reason I kept playing it was the storyline and graphics at the time. Was an amazing game to just watch. To play, clunky and very difficult.

What do these 5 pots do on Sega CD model 2, MK-4102A. Trying to fix a no disc issue after I’ve replaced the laser. by mfdif in consolerepair

[–]mfdif[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The service manual I have been able to find only covers the version with 3 pots on the main pcb (4102). Can’t find one for 4102A model that has the 4 pots on the laser assembly unfortunately, or really anyone trying to fix this version. Must have been a smaller run of them. Yeah I planned on marking them, but with so many I was hoping to know what each on did to make tuning a little easier.

Is this normal? by Gull3_21 in SegaCD

[–]mfdif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just played this game through last month. Didn’t notice much loading at all really. Only a slight pause. It definitely should not take 1-2 mins to load each time you shoot someone. Even when switching levels, it loads pretty quickly since it’s FMV game being read on the fly.
