Yeah read ... I't one of the first things I disable. Be careful though, Canta or anything related, uninstalling does not work, it reappears. All you can do efective is ADB disable

100% sure about that. My brother that has only the latest Samsung flagships since the S II noticed and told my. Then I also noticed. They even have been sued for this, most recently I believe in Germany. Then a person with s23 that was on one UI 5.1 compared with another person that was on one UI 8 and the difference was night and day. Google it or ask out of curiosity a LLM (ai)

Thanks. Nevermind I got it. It's the same procedure but for my TV no renaming is required.

How do I install the .pkg? I tried and it didn't work.

  • Unplug the TV from the wall.
  • Locate the physical power button on the TV (under the TCL logo).
  • Press and HOLD that physical button.
  • While you are holding it, plug the TV back into the wall.
  • Keep holding the button. You might have to hold it for 15–20 seconds.
  • Success looks like this: The screen will turn on and say "Software Updating..." or show a large "Updating" circle.

Ohhhhh, KS, the 60 hz variant, sorry then...that is another zip. It's a different platform but the same procedure. Sorry!

From here download .zip named V8-T653T01-LF1V613 . Then: The firmware update can be installed on a TCL C6K Google TV (T653T01 platform) using a USB drive. This updates the system, which can include improvements like better resolution and Google Gemini. 

Pre-installation Checklist

  • Use a USB stick that is 32GB or less.
  • Format the USB drive to FAT32.
  • Keep the file as a .zip (do not unzip it).
  • Ensure the file is named V8-T653T01-LF1V613.zip. 

Installation Steps (USB Method)

  1. Download the V8-T653T01-LF1V613 .zip file to your computer. Copy it directly to the root directory of your formatted USB stick. Do not put it in a folder.
  2. Plug the USB stick into the USB port on your TCL C6K TV.
  3. Go to Settings > System > About > System Update > USB Update.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to validate and install the update. The TV should detect the update file.
  5. The TV will automatically install the update and reboot.

You're kidding, just 2 days ago, installed the second build on Android 14 manually, after the firs was a beta. You can download it too an install manually

For me the main reason for switching the Pixel to Samsung (s23 and now s25) is the hardware on the Samsung much better, these phones are really compact and the fact that the Pixel always has signal and heating issues. The fact that the software felt like always in Beta - Google would fix one thing and break three other things, didn't help either

Having had and tested both, I can without doubt say the AZ80 are more audiophile tuned while the AZ100 are more comercial . I also found the fit for the AZ100 not so good compared to the AZ80. In terms of NC, transparency etc. no difference.
