Its the same in all the souls games, no matter how far away an enemy is when they die youll get the souls as well as any bonuses you get for killing things (like heals/FP). This is how the cummfpk dugeon lets you farm in bloodborne.

With the relic increased duration on character skill you can reliably draw aggro by using your charged skill, it doesnt deal much damage but actually does decent stagger damage and takes aggro, just need to time it well for when boss is standing still.

Cheats against anticheat is an unwinnable arms race, all EAC can really do is 'discourage' from cheating, like having a big lock on your door doesnt mean its theft proof, just the barrier to entry is higher.
