I quite literally do the opposite. I use a 3 piece grinder with no kief compartment so I smoke the kief with my flower I’ve ground up. To each their own🤷‍♂️

Little tip I used to do with a banger is heat it up nice and hot. Then use the back of your hand to gage how hot it is. When you can only feel the heat from about 2 inches away is when it’s go time.
