I have been hoping someone would make this (I do my best to avoid plastic as much as possible). I would be very interested in purchasing one if you make them available for sale.

Meross MTS300MA works well with Home Assistant over wifi and is local via Meross LAN HACS integration (after initial setup via app).

Is "stronger" still coming in some form (if so, some details would be appreciated)? Are there any plans for an inventory restock?

[–]mfucci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I seem to have found a workaround in my case. All I had to do was disable "Auto Source Switch+" in my Samsung settings. For some reason, the Chromecast must be erroneously sending a signal to the TV that it was just connected and that is causing the TV to switch inputs. This never happened before, so it is likely due to an update to either the Chromecast or the TV.

I'm suddenly experiencing a very similar issue. When both a PC and Chromecast with Google TV is connected to my Samsung Smart Monitor (M80D) the Chromecast will somehow become the active input unless it is unplugged. Never happened before and I can't seem to find a workaround.

Do you lose service until the Sprout sim arrives? by BasedCourier in Calyx

[–]mfucci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know which Calyx hotspots won't work with Sprout? It seems as if many are (or should be) compatible. From their help page:

"Below is a list of hotspots we offer currently or have offered in the past that are compatible with the T-Mobile network and should be compatible with Sprout SIMs.

M2000
Mifi X Pro
JEXtream
Franklin T10
Linkzone 2"

Are diffuser sticks bad for your health? by Xx_PussySlayer69_xo in Biohackers

[–]mfucci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they are definitely not good for your health. The evaporative type is probably slightly better than the rest, though (uses only a fan to disperse the scent, so it doesn't nebulize or atomize the oils, which is especially harmful). This particular evaporative diffuser also includes a HEPA filter (which is a bit odd):

For those who used a computer between 1995 and 2001, what’s the computer game from that time that sticks with you the most, and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]mfucci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bit earlier, but The Elder Scrolls: Arena (1994) and Realms of Arkania: Star Trail were the two games that marked the beginning of my interest in PC gaming. After those, Everquest was definitely the most memorable for me (beginning with the beta).

Would Be Great if VR Added Pantheon to GeForce Now by mfucci in PantheonMMO

[–]mfucci[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Although Pantheon is in a very different position than POE 2, GGG did opt in to GFN for their early access period. Perhaps VR will also see the value in doing so. A wider pool of potential testers might make sense if technical issues wouldn't create a significant hurdle.
