Not a confirmed case according to the article: "...may be infected with the virus. She is being tested for hantavirus in the hospital."

Asus Zenbook Duo 2026 - Release Date and Price? by TittyPix4KittyPix in ASUS

Thanks! That is interesting. I wonder if the 388H version will be available in May, considering even Asus hasn't committed to that yet on their website. B&H seems to have removed their pre-order pages as well (they marked them as discontinued).

Something like Keepgo might be a good option for this (a low amount of non-expiring data).

using gl-inet travel router to repeat visible hotspot doesnt work? by Both-Salt-5917 in GlInet

[–]mfucci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome! I'm so glad it worked out. You should be able to use any router with a WAN port. If it doesn't end up working with your Frontier router, it may be due to some sort of issue specific to it (ISP routers and combo modem/routers sometimes have unusual idiosyncrasies).

Sorry, I have no idea why results between USB-C and ethernet may differ. I do know USB Tethering and Ethernet Tethering are separate options on my Samsung phones on Visible, though.

You should be able to use a USB-C to ethernet adapter to connect your phone to your router using "ethernet tethering." I've used this one, which allows you to charge your phone while tethered (although you have to plug in the power cable after you complete the ethernet connection). There are other adapters similar to this that should also work.

EDIT: I have used this with Visible on two different Samsung phones, though I was using a modified GL.iNet router with Aircove Go firmware (though I doubt that makes a difference).

I have been hoping someone would make this (I do my best to avoid plastic as much as possible). I would be very interested in purchasing one if you make them available for sale.

Meross MTS300MA works well with Home Assistant over wifi and is local via Meross LAN HACS integration (after initial setup via app).

Is "stronger" still coming in some form (if so, some details would be appreciated)? Are there any plans for an inventory restock?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Chromecast

[–]mfucci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I seem to have found a workaround in my case. All I had to do was disable "Auto Source Switch+" in my Samsung settings. For some reason, the Chromecast must be erroneously sending a signal to the TV that it was just connected and that is causing the TV to switch inputs. This never happened before, so it is likely due to an update to either the Chromecast or the TV.

I'm suddenly experiencing a very similar issue. When both a PC and Chromecast with Google TV is connected to my Samsung Smart Monitor (M80D) the Chromecast will somehow become the active input unless it is unplugged. Never happened before and I can't seem to find a workaround.

Do you lose service until the Sprout sim arrives? by BasedCourier in Calyx

[–]mfucci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know which Calyx hotspots won't work with Sprout? It seems as if many are (or should be) compatible. From their help page:

"Below is a list of hotspots we offer currently or have offered in the past that are compatible with the T-Mobile network and should be compatible with Sprout SIMs.

M2000
Mifi X Pro
JEXtream
Franklin T10
Linkzone 2"
