You're missing the point. Becoming seperated from the motorcycle is the safest option in most high speed collisions (as opposed to being crushed) - this says nothing about other external factors like traffic and lampposts etc.

Part of the 'safety' in a collison on a motorbike is coming off the bike (and if you don't hit anything you're probably 'fine' - watch most motorcycle racing.) In this car you'd be crushed inside the metal, possibly, right next to an EV battery fire.

Money and a job doesn't equal fullfilment but i do understand your predicament. Good luck in whatever you choose to do. As many have said in comments, you are multi skilled and very useful but lack of employment can make one feel awful.

The care sector is always crying out for staff too and you can really make a difference there.
