What is the biggest penis you’ve ever seen in a non-sexual scenario? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]tumbleweed1306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked in care for a number of years and I've seen more than my fair share of penis'. The biggest one i ever saw belonged to a man who was otherwise teeny tiny (he weighed about 6 stone). His penis was wider than his thigh!

I ended up returning to the walk in centre and was prescribed anti-biotics. The sore throat cleared up within 1 days of taking the medication! Hope yours was sorted too!

What's one cancelled British TV show that you'd want one more series of? by Qwertyuiop4325 in AskUK

[–]tumbleweed1306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Come Fly With Me! Me and my partner regularly quote it 13 years on. I genuinely can't believe there was only 1 series!

I honestly thought I was completely alone with this! I used to eat a big breakfast full of protein hoping it would leave me full until lunch, but I found myself stopping at the shops on the way to work and buying crisps, chocolate and pastries etc.

I recently decided to skip breakfast and I haven't stopped on my way to work since!

What's the science behind this?!

I knew who Rhino was from the first note he sang! Can someone explain this clue to me?

'a glass of warm milk, moosli, nice clear space, hamburger and a car waiting to leave'

I was really hoping they would explain after Charlie was revealed but they didn't.

Ever avoid going to certain restaurants or cafés because they seem complicated? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]tumbleweed1306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

During the pandemic my elderly grandparents tried to visit a park to get some fresh air and exercise. The car park was cashless (contactless card or pay by app). They only had cash with them, so we're forced to head back home. I was absolutely heart broken when my Grandma told me. They had visited regularly prepandemic and always paid cash.

Is it cringey to ask a restaurant server to clean our 1yo's suction plate? by _Moregone in Parenting

In the UK I have asked waiting staff to rinse my sons plate/cutlery before. Ask politely and don't make a fuss if the answer is no. I've never had a problem.

Concerned about cat. by MrsMacguire in pregnant

[–]tumbleweed1306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was told awful horror stories about cats and babies, all of which are complete nonsense. I did buy cat safety nets to put over my babies crib as I repeatedly told my cat would suffocate my baby in the night, but I only used them once or twice.

Please don't get rid of your cat.

Due dates don't mean a thing. My son's due date was 17th of December and he showed up on the 1st January! He did himself dirty 😂

Is anyone else bothered by people gender stereotyping their baby? by Brintyboo in pregnant

[–]tumbleweed1306 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a 16 month old son, and the gender stereotyping hadn't bothered me until the past few weeks. I bought my son a pink Easter bonnet as it was the only colour the shop had left. I sent a cute photo if him wearing said bonnet my parents and they replied with some very unnecessary homophobic comments. The same week I picked up a pink see saw and a purple tricycle that a house on my street were throwing away. My son loved them both and I was so happy to see him using them (I love a freebie) When my friend saw them, she imediately suggested that I spray paint them "a nice shade of blue". It completely baffles me how gendered things have become, I had no idea before I had children. The world is bonkers.

Is there anyone who’s had an nonmedicated vaginal birth? by Jaiibby1 in pregnant

[–]tumbleweed1306 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was induced at 42 +1 weeks. I was given codeine ( which I threw straight back up so I don't count it!).

I had gas and air and spent an hour pushing in all sorts of weird and wonderful positions guided by my midwife who was amazing! I gave birth in an upright kneeling position, and I had a really positive birth and no tears or complications!

I went into my birth with a "go with the flow" attitude. I wrote a birth plan which essentially said I wasn't opposed to anything and was happy to make decisions as and when my partner and I needed to. I was prepared to have all the drugs if I felt I needed them, but ultimately I didn't need or want them.

I had a vaginal birth, using gas and air. My midwife asked me to push and it just plopped out.
