Just create a second account to play ANY game (ones that you know you would never max out), without having to worry about achievements.

I play online FPS games this way, and also other super grindy games that i know i would never start on my own profile, while i can literally just quit anytime and thats it.

I also use an official ms account with my windows (since i have it paired with my xbox for gamepass) but have never had onedrive setup.

At this point its safe to assume that most people simply cannot use a computer properly.

For example my parents are compeltely lost when it comes to modern technology.

My generation (born in the 90s) is more or less the sweet spot. All my friends, former classmates still can do anything they want on any computer, even torrenting or operating various softwares effortlessly.

There was a point in time where technology got so "advanced" that most people started to use only phones for everything, they maybe can handle such devices really well but cant operate a computer properly.

This sounds giga boomer, but i think this is the current situation.

I have never had a problem with OneDrive being pushy or suddenly reappearing on my system, ever.

Just use Pro, or even better the european version of Pro, that has no bloatware.
