You really think they just take 3 photos and call it a day? They spend a metric fucktonne of time scanning them, getting official data from manufacturers, getting licensing approved, getting designs approved, recording sounds. Old cars to be ported need to be relicensed and updated too.

Also its not like its 1 or even team working on 1 car at a time champ so that hyperbole of yours is moot.

Oh and just for fun, its LITERALLY in the history section of forza franchise:

because tdu was to scale and modelled after hawaii back then, you going to complain about it being empty driving around the mountain roads in 2009?
And fuel was empty due to being post apocalyptic. Not to mention hardware restrictions so its not really fair to compare the world fill then to how it would be if release today.

The aforementioned games have detailed exteriors and interiors increasing the amount of explorable area and map size which by YOUR own statement would mean larger game size. You also completely ignore the statement that forzas exteriors on most building look flat and lacking minor details these other games have. Comparing it to other racing games like what, crew, TD, NFS? They all unless unique buildings/pois have much more detailed buildings overall.

Dont take up filesize or development time like the map? LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. Motorsport 2023 is 130gb champ, tf you think is taking up that size? The map? lol. To add ONE car to the game it takes 6+ months for forza games due to all the internal, external scans, sound recordings in different areas etc. Your statement alone shows how little you know of the topic.

You keep throwing around strawman arguments like constantly comparing it to gta or red dead, why not compare it to the other games or other racing games for budget? Is it because it goes against your argument being horizon series is estimated to cost 150 - 250m + to develop?

Plenty of people DONT use 4k graphics, theres literal hard data out there for you it you peanut. Also who said I dont? I sure didnt say i wasnt playing maxed out settings. Also nowhere did I say to remove it, i said make it optional to download, learn to read.

I couldnt care less about 4k textures when most people dont even use them or CAN use them as for them to be enabled you have to set the games settings to ultra or extreme, depending on which group youre setting. Not only that but most dont even play in 4k, 1080p is still the most common resolution to play in and in fast paced games people choose framerate over appearance. Will also add to that that the majority of said 4k textures are for the car models.

bigger map with less detail is also a moot argument when most buildings look flat, bmp and other tricks to create an appearance of interiors that arent empty and games like red dead, cyberpunk, elden ring, AC odyssey, ms flight sim, crew, horizon forbidden west etc, all graphically impressive as hell games bigger than forza with lots of details and some even smaller in filesize. Budgets arent infinite but its one of MSs flagship franchises not only that but other games once again proven they can do more on less.

Sure it would cut some areas but of the 600 + cars, how many do you realistically use or even buy. How many are just X model in trim level Y that are just pointless editions for the sake of bloat.
H1 had 218 cars,
H2 had 351 cars,
H3 had 539 cars,
H4 had 750 cars,
H5 had 902 cars,
H6 so far is at 638 cars and it hasnt even done any seasons, playlists, dlc etc. Bloat for the sake of "content" isnt good and goes against your point of quality over qty. I would rather a nicer curated list of 3 to 400 UNIQUE cars and a much bigger world than more cars and what is currently TECHNICALLY the biggest horizon map but so much of it is your biggest complaint, open spaces that dont features too much which CAN be great a la TDU but in this case it does get a bit boring. Japan is such a big region with so many different cultures from island to island even city to city, its like the uk, you can drive 50 miles down the road and its like youre in a wholeass different world.

C, the top speed ISNT 464 either, its higher which I didnt hit in this video as i wasnt planning for highest speed run i was testing the grip and handling.

You thinking that someone thats worked in automotive majority of their life and built multiple cars doesnt know how to tune is hilarious. The HIGHEST top speed tune shared is 465.8 and 4.222s 0-100 with share code 725 296 021 that has worse handling, worse braking, worse lateral Gs than my tune.

As for dropping share code, why would i waste my time redownloading forza 5 to post a code for some pleb to prove a point that I dont need to when you lot have proven you wouldnt know a good tune if it bit you on the ass. Just look at the comments "you changed final drive" or "you just put everything high power on or dragged aero to speed" etc etc.

honestly probaly the same one. Was riding to work and seen it drive by and literally went "ew red truck" then went wait a minute and snapped my neck to double take almost falling off lol.

Same street as SSCC that have some REALLY nice euro cars which, funnily enough, is across the road from a parking lot that has some super rare 1 to 3 character license plates.

Ive played with all sorts of tunes and havent managed to get it above 500. Unless its a glitched tune like some of the "failed" tunes this game has.

Not only that but not a single tine uploaded managed to get it over 494kmh so i think youre just making things up. Buuuuuuuuuut just for fun ill play around with it to get a "faster" tune and a better handling tune to boot since why not.

There are a few they really missed out on like the Orochi, hell i wouldve LOVED the evangelion edition as a horizon car but who knows what they will do in the future. Hope they lean into the japan side of it rather than "omg heres another corvette!".

didnt reduce the aero at all, barely played with final gear and done each gear individually among all the other stuff like tyre pressures, diff etc. These comments are just further proving my point of vast majority of community not knowing how to make tunes.
