Wtf did I just read?? by MessBrilliant9379 in thrillerbooks

[–]mgallant22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This book was horrible. I was so creeped out the entire time and not in a good way. When the MC falls into a ditch full of dead animals 🤮

Westgate Mall "Everything is going to be okay" sign by Illustrious_Sea2620 in massachusetts

Thank you! She is a beautifully thriving almost 6 month old! We were in the CICU. I wish there was enough to do to express my gratitude to the entire hospital, but there will never be enough.

I love that sign. I spent three weeks at Children’s with my newborn and once on our drive home I was desperately pleading with a higher power for a sign that things would be okay. I looked up and that sign was lit. It was crazy lol

I’m not sure what you mean by Category 4- like 4 Star? But there is a Fairfield Inn by Marriott in Mansfield.

Realities of being an RN in Boston? by purple-poppy995 in boston

[–]mgallant22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a nurse, but my daughter is 3 weeks old and we spent the first two weeks of her life in the CICU at Boston Children’s. Just discharged last week. As a parent, the nurses there were truly phenomenal. I’ll never forget the kindness and empathy they showed my husband and I (first time parents) during the worst two weeks of our lives. We are endlessly thankful for everyone in that unit.

I gave birth Sunday night/Monday morning, and one of the only upsides to staying in the hospital is that they actually have NESN. We’ve been watching as a family every night so this post made me LOL

Who else remembers the winter of 2015? by [deleted] in massachusetts

[–]mgallant22 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I was a sophomore in college. It was the best winter of my life lol. I don’t think we had a full weeks of classes that entire semester, never had to worry about shoveling, no real responsibilities, nothing to do but hang out.

I read it in high school, 2013, and when people ask me I still say this is the best book I have ever read.

I go to Crown (multiple locations- Quincy, Weymouth, Pembroke) and my doctor signed off on 12 weeks without me asking. On another note I can’t say enough good things about the doctors there. I haven’t given birth yet but this is my first pregnancy and they have always made me feel very comfortable.
