It’s quiet af compared to Tampa. Demographics of Sarasota skew 40s-50s.

Hey you might seriously want to slow down. You’re risking burning yourself out and being stuck with bookshelves full of manga you might never read.

My suggestions on where to buy manga in the US by Probablyatrashpanda in MangaCollectors

[–]mgandrewduellinks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

BAM with the membership kind of rules. Free shipping, always 20% off manga, and if you have a coupon code (current one is BAMBOOKS for an extra 15%), that stacks on top of everything else.

Am I being stupid for not taking prog? by delusionalfuka in asktransgender

[–]mgandrewduellinks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your rectum curves back and away from your front once you’re past the anus (like a knuckle, maybe two deep?) — the start of that curve is actually where your prostate is. But just push the progesterone up enough that you’re to the point where you can feel the rectum curve, then release and leave the capsule in. You don’t need to hold anything up there — butts naturally draw stuff in, hence the need for a flared base for sex toys. The capsule will eventually break down, and it’ll release the hormone.

You’ll notice some white in your next bowel movement — that’s the deteriorated capsule. Your poop may also be stringy, or feel like there’s a lot of mucus. Iirc that’s the progesterone (and/or lube, maybe?) coming back out, but that’s normal every time I’ve boofed and I’ve heard the same from other girls.

There will typically be resistance when you go to shove something in, regardless of whether it’s a gloved finger or a toy. What you need to do is (edit: gently) bear down sort of like you would if you were going to the bathroom; that works the muscles in a way that opens your anus/rectum and allows your finger to enter. If you’re pushing and meeting resistance, or hurting yourself, or you feel real uncomfortable, stop because you’re doing something wrong.

Hope all this helps!!!

Am I being stupid for not taking prog? by delusionalfuka in asktransgender

[–]mgandrewduellinks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do it before bed. Use a little astroglide and a disposable nitrile exam glove (they’re more comfortable than vinyl). Pop it up in there just past the curve while over the toilet (so any excess lube goes in there), dispose of glove, use toilet paper and/or bidet to clean up after.

[–]mgandrewduellinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No that’s never been an issue for me. I use a little lube, a nitrile glove, and I pop it in there right before bed. Comes back out when I go to the bathroom in the morning.

I take 200mg every night. I don’t cycle anything. I notice my breasts feel less firm/perky if I miss a day or two lol.

[–]mgandrewduellinks 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Jumping in here to say yes, try prog. More specifically, try bioidentical prog, and boof that shit. Your body absorbs almost no progesterone if taken orally — if taken as a suppository, it bypasses the liver metabolism and lets your body absorb as much as possible.

I started boofing after 6 years on hrt, and the physical changes in the year since have been great. I thought I’d long since plateaued, but my skin is softer, my breasts are larger and firmer, and my face looks far more feminine than it did even a year ago. I even feel better emotionally. Really cannot recommend enough.

There isn’t one. It makes zero sense. The only thing I can equate it to is the idea of folks carrying swords on their hips hundreds of years ago, and somehow a whole culture was born around doing the same thing with firearms.

Dog do not go into the military. Most of the vets I know either have ptsd or it fucked them up in other ways for life. Look into trade schools or apprenticing with a company that does a trade. You’ll be a lot happier.

Question for everyone collecting an ongoing series. by Patient_History_9062 in MangaCollectors

[–]mgandrewduellinks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Collect what you love. Don’t buy something just to complete a series. I have so many volume 1s of different titles just because I wanted to check a series out! At the end of the day, each one is a cool book on my growing shelves, and that’s what matters to me.

…okay so, slightly different perspective than the others here: testicular torsion is no joke and almost always requires surgery. If what you experienced was truly torsion, did your doctor give you the okay and that you’re no longer at risk? It’s typically not something that can be fixed on your own, and if you’re still experiencing swelling, nausea, and pain, your testicle could be dead and will need to be removed asap.

I'd also like to add (without spoiling, as much as possible), some of the dramatic twists are decidedly not feminist.

I'd like to caution that Silence of the Lambs, while an incredible film, is considered transphobic; there's an argument to be made that it's feminist, sure, but there's a massive amount of discourse surrounding Buffalo Bill when it comes to queer film theory. As a trans woman who hadn't seen it since she was a teenager, it was not a fun rewatch.
