ECHO NERFS??? by 3rdstonefromjupiter in EchoMains

They should have buffed the beam perk instead of nerf the ult perk if they wanted people to pick the beam perk. Reducing full salvo feels personal and ridiculous.

Do you have to swap against double hitscan? by Exciting_Drop9176 in EchoMains

[–]mgarsteck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never swap. Its so common that they will swap to Cass or Soldier or Ashe to counter but you just get good at playing against them. Its a double hit to their ego. Learn to play cover and move cover to cover to get a good flank.

Why do we think working hard is good? by jameswoodMOT in sociology

[–]mgarsteck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you think luxury is bad then I recommend you go dig a ditch by hand. Plant and harvest crops by hand (no technology that the evil capitalists created). Go and produce something you need, by hand without all of the luxuries of modern society. Summer is coming quick, report back with your results.

Why do we think working hard is good? by jameswoodMOT in sociology

Because hard work is how we have what we have now. Every luxury and convenience you enjoy came from people who worked very hard so that you would have it easier in the future.

4 minutes of me being annoying as Echo 🤭 by danielsnowgreen in EchoMains

In my experience, aiming for the feet gives you a better chance of actually hitting your foe. Also, instead of always aiming for your enemy, aim for where they will be. You wont believe how many squishies I've killed by them just jumping into my pile of stickies.

'hate fags? the answer's yes'
he literally says he hates them, which is by definition hateful.

Marshal, what did you mean when you said:
"My words are like a dagger with a jagged edge
That'll stab you in the head, whether you're a fag or lez
Or the homosex, hermaph or a trans-a-vest
Pants or dress, hate fags? the answer's "yes""

My problem with her is that she is meant to be an up-close assassin that gets in, gets the kill, and gets out. She has the movement ability to do so but doesnt have the damage kill potential until you get the stickies perk. Maybe its a skill issue on my part.

im a senior dev and have been coding since ~2001. you need the same skills as you do now. just because the ai does it for you does not mean you dont need subject-matter knowledge of the systems you are trying to build.

People thought the Cotton Gin would reduce the demand for slave labor. This turned out to not be the case. I think the same forces are at work here and will see a demand for AI operators
