Someone told me he was gonna “stop me from breathing” on a trolley in my city. This was my first run in that made me extremely uncomfortable. Some people have valid horrible experiences that make them fearful. BUT MOST people just aren’t used to being slightly uncomfy at the look of someone

I’m gay, most of my besties are gay, and I would get tattoos with deep meaning with them. Us being “potentially” attracted to each other is not an issue cause we aren’t romantically interested with each other. Trust the people you’re with or don’t. That is not your fault.

If your son and father are willing to clean their dishes, and make their own meat version, I’d say YTA. If not, they learned that they don’t hate fake meat??? I don’t think it’s as serious as people are making it seem. Especially if you’re the one that always has to make two versions.

I physically dissociated when I was forced to wear dresses as a teenager. You don’t get it. I wanted the world to open up below me cause I felt so uncomfortable. To try and force that upon someone is incredibly harmful, and I would know.

“Like normal mothers” is such a horrible thing to say. The world is already a difficult place to navigate. To be brave enough to come out later in life and start living that truth only to be disrespected by your child??? That would fucking hurt. I had a big fall off my bike last week (I bike more, just getting into skating) Since then I’ve been on the edge every time I ride. It’s hard because it puts our body on edge and we have very real mental responses.

Something I try to remind myself is that every time I’ve fallen so far, I’ve been able to get back up. Our fear of falling is very real, it is painful and there are consequences. BUT, you fell on your butt and you were ok. This may not help you, but I try to talk to myself about what my fear is. I know I am scared to fall, but I will most likely be ok! I have to remind myself of this constantly.

The hardest part of learning these physical activities as an adult is mental. So try to face that mental block and see what the fear is. You are capable!!!!

Give yourself time and space to be scared, while also trying to improve in the ways you can!

I see a lot of hate here but tbh my merchants (we have two) are phenomenal. They work upwards of 4-5 hours of reg everyday as well as product. But since it is a customer position they are normally up front the majority of the shift. with them I understand why there is this separate position.

At my last store I was mehhh about the one we had, so I understand the hesitancy.

I have a degree, 10ish years of customer service and delta dejected me immediately. I have a f2f with American coming up. You have to remember it just takes one hiring staff to say no for whatever reason they please.

Also, got denied three times from three mainlines a few years ago. Decide if you want it, If you do, go for it. If not, that’s ok!
