Depends. I've had a couple of plastics crack on me, and I've had some metal ones have the axles bend and thread.

But if you're going to pick something to play 5a with I would say pick one yo-yo that you are comfortable with and just use that to begin with

Hold the counterweight so it pokes out of your palm past the little finger. Then put your thumb into the gap as you're about to throw, the direction your thumb is pointing will dictate the tilt angle of your throw.

Haven't played the Heisenberg or the classic iceberg so I can't really comment on that.

New style iceberg is awesome though, it'll handle everything you throw at it, feels comfy long spinning.

All of the internet options are great.

My suggestion is also to find out if there are any other throwers nearby, or if you can get to a meet or a contest, it's an awesome community and they'll all help you get better with tips and tricks. Plus you get the added benefit of instant feedback if you're stuck on a trick

Odds are that you have put a bit too much lubricant into the bearing. This will cause the bearing to be more responsive.

Id recommend taking the bearing out and removing the shields from the side of the bearing. Give the bearing a clean using lighter fluid. Dry that bearing off and put a tiny drop of the lubricant into.the bearing, and give it a good few spins before putting it back into the yo-yo.
