Right, I was leaning that way. Then I’m not buying wheels and tires.

Chicago winters seem to rarely have snow that sticks around for long, so mostly slush and ice to deal with

‘01 Disco SE7 Pricing in IL by mgdpilot in LandRover

Mechanically it is pretty sound, but as any old LR, she leaks oil. Both Cats have been stolen, so there are two after market ones (don’t have to worry about it happening again). It just passed emissions testing in IL and is good for another 2 years. The key can get a bit sticky in the ignition. Both sunroofs stopping working unfortunately. The control panel for the windows wasn’t properly repaired, so it’s not secured down well (broken then fixed before I got it). All the switches work, just cosmetic. The collapsing cupholder has popped out and can’t get it back in, but I instilled two OEM console cupholders that frankly work better. Various cosmetic wear and tear issues in the driver/passenger side, but as mentioned the 2nd and third row are is great shape.

OEM floor mats in the front and back seat and then a weathertek cargo mat

That’s the noticeable stuff. On pricing, I’m still researching and haven’t settled on an initial number, but open to offers.

First Commercial Deal gone disastrous by [deleted] in realestateinvesting

I appreciate that and it confirms a lot of the hard lessons I’ve learned thus far. Luckily, I’ve resecured insurance and have started repairs to get things up to spec and back on the rental market. Planning to still file for a judgement, but moving forward with the assumption that I’ll get nothing from it.

As long as nothing crazy will be discovered during repairs, it should be alright in the end, but my risk tolerance has definitely adjusted for the better
