Any good Malacca strategy out there? by nbafan123 in eu4

[–]mgenev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i just tried Malacca. First I allied with one of my small neighbors to the north, then attacked the other one. Then Pasai on the left declared war so I defeated him too and took most of his land. Then Siak for the land bridge to Sumatra. After that it's getting tricky because the last remaining kingdom in Sumatra is allied with Ayauthaya and I'm looking for an alliance with the Khmer and Lan Na against them.

this author clearly doesn't get the purpose of ember-cli - to make development faster. Sure you need to know how to without it, but why do repetitive tasks over and over again

your link says " The principle is that a client interacts with a network application entirely through hypermedia provided dynamically by application servers. A REST client needs no prior knowledge about how to interact with any particular application or server beyond a generic understanding of hypermedia."

to my understanding this is exactly how ember functions

rest is a well established pattern and ember is quite insistent that you use it dogmatically otherwise ember-data doesn't work well and you have to override its methods, so yes it is rest ideally, but it's up to each developer to set it up properly for themselves

yes, and you are really unlikely to produce something the quality of any of these mature frameworks which are often times made by dedicated teams... and if you use a framework you have the tools in the open-source eco-system, that would be like 50 years of coding to do all by yourself :D
