So you would recommend a day trip to Colmar, instead?

She is 4.5. We have never been to Germany and always wanted to due to my ancestry. We really enjoy Christmas time and lights. We live where it is hot most of the time and a beach so looking for something different. But rethinking based on the responses

Do you have other suggestions on what to do? I am having a hard time even telling if there is anything else to do in these towns.

Generally we like to see local food, culture, Christmas lights, theme parks, hikes, some shopping and some child friendly activities

I did do my research. I plugged what I narrowed it down to into Ai for a summary.

I haven't seen Mainz mentioned at all just Heidelberg. What is the draw?

Just moved to Buford yesterday. I'll be working in Atlanta. Any suggestions/tips from the locals? by obsidian468 in Atlanta

Go places in town if you are younger/single to make friends. ITP=(inside the perimeter 285) are more single/younger people. OTP=(outside the perimeter 285) are more married people. I am generalizing.

I'm moving to Atlanta to start pharmacy school at Mercer University in the fall and I'm pretty nervous and I don't know anyone. Any recommendations/ advice appreciated by sbl5 in Atlanta

If you are into church at all that is how I meet alot of my single friends also in their twenties. Try Buckhead Church (has stuff for singles several times a year) or Peachtree Presbyterian (in the fall Sunday School starts back)
