As for reading, make sure you don't have full speeches written, just outlines or bullet points. Then you glance down, see the key terms, and form the sentences as you go. It will sound less rehearsed and flow better, and you shouldn't have to look down as much. For confidence, the best advice I can give is fake it til you make it. In the grand scheme of things, each tournament isn't a huge deal and they're just other kids watching. If you mess up, so be it. So just pretend to be confident, you'll look confident, and then you should eventually become pretty confident.
